Can't understand why the prices here in Norway are so high. I see that a 4000+ Sandy costs 550$ on monarch. You can only guess what it costs in norway! It costs 5800NKR = 943$...
I can almost order two 4000+ SD from Monarch for the same prise.
But my local customs will make me pay the same price if I buy it from another country unless the box is marked as "gift" or "back from repair", the they won't ask any qustions..
First time posting here, looks like the 3700 San Diego is the cheapest one with 1MB L2 cache, will place my order tomorrow and hopefully they still have it!!
Uhhh this is preorder i dont think the have any stock ATM :stick:Quote:

They won't know till later on today. I saw the FX55 .13 has been discontinued now, at least from the distributers listing.
Looks like Sparco's still outta stock on the Venices and SanDiegos....Quote:

I just called to add something to my order. They also told me they didnt get them in yet but hopefully today. They will be shipped out ASAP. Also they increased the number of their first shipment. Cause i ordered mine late last night and he said i was on shippment #1
Joey
I ordered the 3700+ from Sparco saturday morning. When I called to confirm today I was also told that I would be in the first shipment. And they told me there initial batch would be 150 pieces, and that as of 9:40 am today they had taken about 100 orders
Don't quite know what to believe at this point. Guess I won't know for sure until I get that tracking number :toast: :YIPPIE:
I was wondering what would be the added benefit of getting the 3700+ rather then a Venice 3500+. I wanna learn a little OCing
What i have so far is
TT shark
OCZ 520W
DFI Lanparty nF4 UT Ultra
OCZ (2X512)1GBLE
XFX 6800GT
Hitatchi 80 SATA II
Thanks
Joseph
I too was being told I'll be in the first shipment!!
Folks, It isn't too bad not knowing when will they have the cpu in stock, the worst part is AFTER they'd shipped out your processor! :D because I know I'll be checking on the tracking status constantly...like couple times a day, and can think of nothing but the dang package. :D Just when you think it can't be any worst than that, now check this out...while you're at work and when you track your package status for the 100th times again, it shows "DELIVERED" in bold...like at noon! and the package sitting somewhere at your front door waiting for you to get off work and open it!! I don't know about you but that last couple hours at work seems like years!! :slobber: And if you happen to be at home on the delivery date, then your neck will be sored for keep lurking out for any sign of those dang UPS or FedEX like a 3 year old waiting for ice-cream truck, and I know I'll more than likely lose it and keep asking "Where the F* is my package??!!!!" :lol2: :D
lol

When I got my NF4 mobo, I watched the tracking all day only to watch it turn to "undeliverable returned to warehouse". When I call and raised H$$L they tell me the driver couldn't find my house. Two days later I got my board :DQuote:

It looks like either those reps at Sparco have been lying to us and tricked us into putting in pre orders with the fake ETA, OR maybe they'd already received the shipment in the warehouse and every single one of their pre orders have been full-filled, scanned, and ready to ship out on Tuesday and NONE left to be order till May 13th. I hope it's the later but man I have a bad feeling about this and I really don't feel like waiting for another month.....arrgggghhhh

I thought the worst would of been couple days....but didn't expect almost a month of delay, this really sucks! :(
I dunno...I've been watching the live availability from Bottom Line Telecommunications as well (which shows the number of parts on order as well as availability/dates) and from what I can tell they use the same Distro as Sparco, so it's the same availability pool, but with more information available...checked BLT's availability a few minutes ago and it was showing the incomming order for 110 units with 127 units orderd, so they're deffinately ordered beyond what the initial shipment is going to have...and their ETA was showing "Overdue" not may 13th...
for what its worth

can anyone confirm that san diego 3500+ has 1mb l2 cache, read it here but someone in another forum says it will only have 512kb l2
UGH the code for the CPU says it will only have 512k l2 cache read all of this thread it is stated many times :)

I for one am going to cancel my order. What would be the added benefit to getting the san diego over the Veince
I just cancel my Sparco order. Bad Sparco :slapass:
Their reseller ratings are going to take a nose dive today :nono:
other than the status online, anybody asked them what happened though?
Ask the wall why it doesn't move. You will get the same response from Sparco. They probably got that ETA from the release date rumors on the web. :rolleyes:Quote:

1. Does anyone else have them (including sparco?) (Just got off phone and they admitted they don't have a clue, amd isn't telling )
2. They aren't charging your cc until shipped.
3. They seem to be okay about cancellations anyway.
4. So you're going to go to the end of another queue somewhere else?
(If I was not in the first shipment I would be :clap: since I would move up for when they available :D ).
I am just waiting until something shows, then making a move if any is needed. You guys are just getting jumpy since your immediate gratification instinct is being frustrated (must have a cbbid :bsod: )
Since Spanko doesn't charge my credit card till they ship out the cpu, I"ll keep my pre-order open over there and jump on the Monarch bandwagon, I won't count on this but the ETA is May 6th for the OEM 3700 SD...let's see who has it in stock and ship it out first, I'll be damn if Newegg beat them to it and give everyone a surprise.
I cancelled my Sparco order. I don't reward liars with my business, and you shouldn't either.

What you are saying is pretty much true and their prices were pretty good campared to other pre-listers. Whether they can deliver in the long run remains to be seen. The important part bis they don't charge till they ship, so no biggie leaving the order in place.Quote:

What they did was clearly designed to get a large number of preorders by purposely lying.
well to all you guys dissing sparco and :banana::banana::banana::banana: its an estimated time or arrival.

I just called Monarch and they said their expected ship date for Venice and San Diego is still 22 April.
all venice and diegos? or just 3800+ and 4000+????
I just looked at monarch and these are the dates:
Venice:
3000+ -> May 6th
3200+ -> May 6th
3500+ -> April 27th
3800+ -> April 29th
San Diego:
3700+ -> May 6th
4000+ -> April 27th
this is not nice from amd
Those dates are for new orders, not previously placed pre-orders, according to Monarch.Quote:

Oem version at Monarch is even better, with 2-days shipping it is $344.29. :D :D
