After flashing,do a clean driver and RivaTuner install, then check in RivaTuner
in NVIDIA graphics processor registers to make sure you have these timmings
Thanks a lot. Will post my feedback tomorrow.
You have Palit? Would you like to try a modded bios for 1.5V?Quote:

Did anybody make memory voltmod on Asus 6600 AGP???
I changed timings, but it's no result...
PLZ help russian modders... :)
Hello all.
Seaman, Jacker, I discovered that the "relaxed" timings for memory works on 128MB cards as well as 256MB cards, whatever the card manufacturer (there can be exceptions though) .
The only thing you should consider when editing the timings with NiBitor is the TimingSet you are editing. If you want to be sure which is the right TimingSet (from 0 to 7) for your specific card first load your card's bios into Nibitor, then use RivaTuner and go to Hardware reports -> VGA Bios Information and then compare the 3 parameters named NV_PFB_TIMING0, 1, 2 with the ones in Nibitor's TimingSets. When you matched the whole 3 with a Timingset of 3.... edit them with the relaxed timings found up in this thread !!
My Sparkle 6600 256MB AGP works now at 600 / 665 ! (crappy 4 ns memory).
yes..exactly...this card is blocked i think. Sparkleultra bios I cant load to it, no vmod i have found till now, I changed timings as well and no result of course. Any help?Quote:

Hi guys...before doing any vmod on my sparkle 6600 agp I want to buy a nice cooler such as the zalman vf700-cu. The problem is that I can't find anyone who has tried to fit it into a sparkle 6600 agp...i notice that the sparkle pcb is not the same of the nvidia reference board so I don't know is the mounting hole are the same!
This is the nvidia reference:

My sparkle:

Hi! Can someone explain, please, how to make pencil vmod of asus en6600 128mb (pci-e)? Or post a link, where I can read about it. I've searched this thread, but couldn't find information about pencil vmod of pci-e card, found only about agp...
I've Manli GF6600 PCIe with exactly same pcb.Quote:

Hi,
I have a problem... :(
I used ntimings with my Peak 6600 (non GT) card....
with this settings:
TIMING0 : 060b1003
TIMING1 : 05010407
TIMING2 : 00240306...
After reboot, during boot
I can't see the windows logo...
I can see only a blank screen...
I tried to flash firmware but, with different firmware, I have the same result...
I used also sparkle ultra firmware... before ntimings this worked....
Anyone have an Idea?
Best regards...
Antonio
P.S. excuse my little english....
i got a chaintech 256mb 6600 agp.
i shaded the R87 resistor and the result is the same. still a max of 452mhz on the core. so i used the eraser to clean it off falowed by 90% alch.
so the pencil i used im not shure what number it was should be a number 2 but it was a cheap one with no number on it. should i use a good number 2 pencil? how dark should i shade it?
ok stock R87 was 500ohm i penciled it to 460ohm and at first i could get to 500mhz but it would haing i would restart and it wouldent let me go to 500mhz only 452mhz on the core and would run it fine. anyone know whats wrong?
chaintech 6600 256mb agp.
why don't you try with the original firmware?Quote:

But yes, I have a 6600 to voltmod ;) - maybe someone can help?
I've been looking for VMod for some time but no luck - I doesn't find any PCB similar to that used in my card :(.
It's Leadtek PX6600 TD, non-GT, 256MB, PCI-E version.
