Looking otherguys SLI setups with 6800 and Vapochill gets me like omg :P where the hell are u guys taking this money ?
Vapo + 2 x 6800 Ultra costs 2299 Euros :O
I know that in U.S.A prices of PC hardware are very low comparing with europe countries
but this low ? Can u guys in USA can buy like every month a new video and still get food to eat ? ;P
I'm told as you get older you'll have more descretionary income... eg, spending copious ammounts of cabbage on gear...atleast I hope that's how it works

I think that might put me back on the list :)
I like this new NVIDIA Driver...for benching at least

3DMark03: 17608
http://jasonhk.za.net/records/17608.JPG
Only 93 points away from 1st  And my nature beats his, so my Graphics is stronger, just my cpu @ 2.64Ghz and his @ 2.9Ghz.
Put me 2nd place for both, , Almost 1st in 03...shees, this 3200+ is doing well
Aquamark3: 91325
Puts me 3rd if you look at each user, as some users posted 2 or 3 times,
What are those reserve scores? H2OGUN? Please just publish them...is you have them...
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=670390
with sli 6800gt xfx and zalman vf700cu
On 03, I have noticed that nature seems stronger on the A64 versus the FX-55, clock for clock. A little slower on the first test, however. The extra half meg of cache helps and hurts, it appears. But, even if a little slower clock for clock, the FX-55 ultimately has the edge with a little more horsepower. It really makes a difference in AM3. You could probably break 100K on that set up with an FX.Quote:

CPU cooled with Vapochill LS
2x BFG 6800 Ultra cooled with asetek waterchill, except Im using H20 block which he is selling here and the card was clocked at 466mhz/1210mhz
The driver wont allow me to go higher!
I think I should be getting a higher score, any ideas?

As for the clocking, get the card as close to 25C as possible under load. That is where the peak clocks occur.
maybe with winter coming to OZ can get ambient room temps under 26C lol but card sighQuote:

i think this is a nice score for a rookie
Actually, at 42C load, my cards clock at around 470/1260. Then, with load at 25C, I can hit around 500/1280 or so. The ambient temp of the chilled water is about 12C.Quote:

I dont have any tweaks, just overclock core and mem with Rivatuner
Maybe you could teach me some? ;)
Thanks for the compliment, coming from you.. its great ;)
Arnar,
Well... just a few of the obvious ones...set bench to "realtime" and set LOD BIAS to "3". That alone will let you take out my '05 score :D
And polish up your XP a bit... set theme to "classic" and "best performance", remove wallpaper and set to 16b color....

But, on latter tests, higher video clocks make up a bit of ground, since they are more video intensive. I think the higher clock and bigger cache of the FX definitely helps the first test.
EVA2000, what was your FSB on 03? I could look at the result, but the FSB on that is usually inaccurate. I ran most of mine around 302-305 FSB with 2.5-3-4-9 timings. I wonder if tighter timings are better than higher bandwidth on some tests. Your GT1 is better than mine. I guess it could also be that I push my cards a little past prime, since the other three tests more than make up for the loss on the first test.
Great score. Anything approaching 11K is a very respectable score. And, that's with GT's and your CPU at 2.4 GHz. Not bad at all!Quote:

Thats the plan . These scores done on a sytem running everything at the moment(nortons etc) . Will do a clean install and optimise the setup a bit should get me over the 25 and 12k scores.
awesome... you're tempting me to water cooling for first time for video cards hehe but that it will be a pain to remove cards if i want to run single cards for a few test runs hehQuote:

Not bad at all ,but 19k in 2003 and 9k in 2005 wasn't that hard with my 2*msi 6800Nu cards. Your aquamark 3dmark Cpu score is +/-300points lower than with my 2.6ghz winny. , so check those timings and make sure that windows is fully tweaked ;)Quote:

Heh - I wouldn't even get onto the list.
My 6800GTs are pretty crappy clockers - the most they'll do a run at is 395/1100. I think they're suffering from lack of voltage, but I don't really fancy BIOS modding and water cooling, when the next round of cards is just around the corner.
The most I've got from them is 10,600.

Nice gains h20gun.
I think I have even more respect for Mike now that I see Sampsa & Kamu's results with LN2. Just a few hundred points difference, but one is 24/7 stable the other is a quick banshee run.
BTW, Dwalker - Your system looks really nice man. More pics? :D
Thanks isp. I think I've reached the max with stock cards. Beyond this, I have to do the volt mod.
Yes, Mike really has very nice 6800Us. Amazing clocks even at stock. Very rare to get those. I have tested 80+ cards and none can do what his are capable of.
