I just get some of the mods and they are very nice. But i have som problems with the Vagp :(

what aare your problems? If you go above the limit hte mboo shuts down, so you have to trim it back a little

The problem is:
If i trim the Vagp up to 1.96 i get at lowerscore (more sec) in superpi than if i trim it to 1.90.

past 2.0 Vagp somtimes shuts down the mobo for Over voltage protection.

Maybe you are just riding very close to the edge?

it wouldnt decrease performance, unless more volts were hurting his fsb capability.

Ram: Kingston HYperX BH5.

a question from newbie here, for the trimmers, do i need to connect the third leg to ground?

and if i use 100kohm trimmers trim from 50k, can be treated as the same as 50k one?

i Use 100k trimmers for vagp, vchip, and vfsbvtt. I use a 10k for vdroop, and a 1k for vsb.

Only conntect to ground if it is said.

my AS8, I modded it soooo damn much, that it takes so little to make it do exactly what your experiencing. for me, it usually means I have the VChip, or VFSB too high.
sometimes it happens when I run the VAGP more then 2 volts too.
I have every mod done to this board, that can be done.
with 7 volt mods, its extremely easy to mess up one voltage alittle too far.
usually takes me about 10 minutes to figure out what I messed up and fix it, once I get the 2 second power thing happening.
but when it happens, atleast that means the board still works, just means I gotta take the voltages alittle lower.

just cant geet the :banana::banana::banana::banana: started up, when I have more time I will desolder alle the mods and try again :(

I haven't done the Vdimm mod cos I use a DDR Maximizer.........It's the same as the IC7 Max3's one.......Please ppl out there, could some one help him with a link of the mod or something.........? :)

you guys with over 300 have rev 1.1 or 1.2, becaus ei got 1.2 with all mods and i cant break 300.

ar eyou all modded byron? See i got a 561, on 16x multi i can do liek 290fsb stable, then when i goto 14x and divider i cant break 300. Its really pissing me off. I even did the vsb mod and it didnt help.

yes full modded (agp/core/chip), but to be honest even before the mods it would still do the same... i've tried diff chip volts, still the same...

Thx Hipro, Just did the Vdroop mod, and that just helped A LOT, so thank you Hipro, this will help my Celeron D 325J get even higher then the 5Ghz I managede last time I tried Dryice :D

I'm Considering the Vcore mod to, but I don't really know how much vcore the Celly can take?

Ok, I ran into some troubles with my setup: Celeron D 325J and Abit AS8. I'm doing some DICE experiments to see how high I can get the celly runnin', but I seem to run into an OVP at 1,75Vcore, when i go from 1,725Vcore to 1,75xVcore the screen goes black and it takes an hour or two before the setup will boot again...

Any sugestions?

EDIT: I've done Vdroop and Vcore mod...
