local college has a crapload of P3 systems they're giving away or something I guess.. trying to figure out what the deal on them is.. !!
Welcometo our team! Glad you've joined us. Are you ready for warp speed?

Update!
We just got the dual ultrasparc 2 running as well as the axp 2000+.
In a few days I will post the averages from each.
We haven't decided whether or not we need to run 2 nodes in solaris or not, anyone have any tips?
added about 300mhz worth of XP-M production today (+200mhz for everyday rig, +100mhz for bench rig) since power fluctuation took out a mobo so I swapped a few around... more to come.. in a while... :D
Its amazing what those Zalman 7000 cooler can do.. lol.
yes, what is this "stock"? lol :DQuote:

I accualy just fired up the duron and the xeon' today. The duron has been down for some time I was just on the a64 I hope to be putting up some more numbers be in the top 50
Its at stock because its on a ecs board  And there is NO overclocking options. I could not find a windows based ocing prog that worked with the chipset either
ouch.. know how that feels.. k7s5a? :bsod:Quote:

Yup k7s5a good guess
I have a msi k7t266 pro 2 ver2 with a dead bios chip that ill try and revive. It has ajustable multi's and fsb up 2 164 like night and day differnces.
well good luck with that but the Duron probaly could do more ... mine could 2.4 if you didnt mind throwing volts at it.
Untill 2 days ago i had a infinity but I gave it to a friend cause be badly needed a pc upgrade and that duron chip is a nice applebred clocker. I was planning on doing the pin mod for the full range of multi's for that msi board 14x 164 should increase its output by a bit and ty UC for the luck... ill need it. Because upon inspection 2 of the bios chips pins are missing :stick: lol wheres my solderin iron :D
cool you got unlocked duron and cache moddable nice. Mine was stuck at 12 and thus non cache modable.
Unlocked yes. moddale no, i have tried with no success. And yes im SHURE i did it right
well I dont know what happened with angry squirrel ..... was averging more than me before the day. Dont know how I past him ... oh yeah it was my seven computers I added today alone. Past few other people too ... yeah!
Not to sound mean or anything, but I hope you will have your friend producing for D2OL, right ;) .Quote:

Oh and no my freind is not running d2ol, no internet :)
my cruncher is now almost complete just gotta get the 4x d2ol installer
Just recently added 2 x sempron 3100 (754) @ stock speed. They will hopefully run 24/7.
I also have setup my dell PIII450 dually server at work so thats slowly buffering up.
Currently Just running 1
754 AMD64 @ 2.4 Ghz (24/7)
Plan On adding
A Barton Machine (12/5)
2x 939 Machines @ 2.5
754 Machine @ 2Ghz
Unfortunatly i wont be running this on my Main Rig due to the Mach 2 GT being a fairly powerhungry thing.
Currently running
1 dell 4600c
1 Compaq Proliant 1600r dual 450Mhz
with storage array
1 Sony Vaio laptop
building dual Xeon system already posting 3.0 Ghz
building a AMD 64 3400 rig
rebuilding my asus A7v333 1.8 Ghz
sweeping up part around the shop for a few more.
This is so much more fun than Folding Laundry .....
Glad to see you joined! peer pressure rules!Quote:

This one in my sig and my XP 2400+ will be hopefully up and running soon.
running:
2.4c@3.11, HT on.
Hadn't officially made my mark here, so I thought I would:
(Updated 3/21/05)
7 active nodes:
2x Xeon 1.6LV @ 3.28GHz (4 nodes)
A64 3500+ @ 2.4GHz
AXP Palomino 1800+/1.53GHz
P4-M 2.4GHz laptop
4 inactive:
P4 2.4C @ 3.0GHz (2 nodes) - gotta get some RAM, a PSU and a place to put it!
P3 1.13GHz (2 nodes) - friend installed 2 nodes by mistake, now deleted :(
More to come! ;)
Hi , modest contribution :
1 Node active on :
Winchester 3200+ @ 2.55ghz
1 GB OCZ VX 255 2-2-2-5 255x10
DFi Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D
OCZ Powerstream 420w
I might get 2.6ghz in a few so we'll see , until now this is where I stand. A friend convinced me to try folding , I think it's a noble cause and puts my wasted cycles to good use ( ie : when surfing , listening to music , or while away )
Anyway , wish me luck :stick:

Why did you create more than one account?
Is that bad??? I am on the road sometimes and the 24/7 system is on 24/7. It is also not a very rugged system so one node only. But its on 24/7..So if it is bad then what should I do??Quote:

No it's not bad... but you can put all of your nodes under one account. Just keep using the same e-mail over and over to register new nodes.Quote:

Then enter the password for your other account.
Then you're all fixed!
In the future when you add a new node, or PC, just register it with the same e-mail you used to register your account that you kept. When you log into the page above you will see a section on the first page for you to add your new nodes :) Hope this helps!

Hi there............I just(yesterday) joined the XS Team........I quited SETI......... :(
For now I run :
1. Centrino notebook at 1600MHz(default)
2. P4 Prescott 3.2GHz at 3.5GHz with HT
3. P4 3.2GHz ES(unlocked) at 3.2GHz(default) with HT
4. Just fired up my P4 3.8GHz Prescott at 5015MHz with HT....
5. Tommorow I'll also add my home's PC P4 3.4GHz EE at 3700MHz with HT
Lots of power there, Welcome to the team! :toast:

Thanks guys...... :D
Some observations though..... :)
Rig No2 with the Prescott P4 3.2@3.5 with 2 x 512MB Rams at 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 7 is a LOT SLOWER than the Rig No2 with the P4 3.2@3.2 Northy with 2 x 256MB Rams at 2 - 2 - 2 - 5......SO Cas latency "plays" a quit big role in this project......
Not to mention that crunching less than 2 hours with the P4 3.8GHz@5015MHz rig with 2 x 256MB Rams at 2 - 2 - 2 - 5 at 264MHz 1:1 and it has crunch over 26 units.....So average per day should be over 300 units ONLY with this rig.....The same with ALL of my other rigs..... :D
EDIT : I have :
Rig No1. Centrino 1.6GHz@1.6GHz = 53 units av. per day
Rig No2. Prescott 3.2GHz@3.5GHz = 99 units av. per day :stick: :nono:
Rig No3. Northy 3.2GHz@3.2GHz = 148 units av. per day
EDIT No2 : Ha,ha,ha,......I'm sick and tired of manualy uploading the P4 3.8@5015MHz rigs' units.....Every some minutes I have and a unit ready....I'll leave it on autotransmit..... :D
joined team bout 3 days ago, i only got one computer i can actually put anything on and its my own that i use daily so i crunch at nites and while at skool which is gonna stop soon, so the daily avg is gonna drop some soon specs:

im now running at 2.68ghz cos whenever a candidate would finish it would shutdown the program :S its fine now tho and ive 17 canditates today - not much but i have been playing CSS loads
Here is most of mine. Plus there is a few not in that workgroup.

just as a note...
im on 56k and didnt realize u had to be on the net for this program to work....
therefore my time D20Ling will be dramatically cut :(
still on dial up man, a shame to here that ;)
cant get it where i live (bottom end of Cornwall) till around end of July :( :(
the pain is unbearable
set your buffer to at least 200 (more is better that way if the server goes down, you'll have plunty of work). You don't need to be on the internet for it to work :)Quote:

Now that it is all fixed, my daily average should get higher.
