I have the GSkill PC4800(DDR600) 3-4-4-8, so far this is the highest i've gotten.

Too bad my Abit AV8 is unstable at HTT above 275, thats why I haven't gotten higher.

hey rauf :)
welcome to XtremeSystems :toast:
what vdimm? 300 2.5-3-3 is not possible?
thanks!
vdimm doesn't matter. 275 is just as stable at 2.5V as at 2.85V.
300 is not possible, motherboard gets cranky above 275 HTT...
hmmmm via K8t eh? hmmm
yea, thats exactly where my asus a8v crapped out also. I must try some of this gskill on my epox tho :D
Where did you buy them from? And how much? ThanksQuote:

Not sure if this has been asked, but who (if anyone) is a distributer of GSkill memory products in Canada?
I'm in a toss-up between a 1 GB package of either the OCZ 3700EB or the 4400-1GBLE GSkill package, but if that $USD price is any indication, I'll take the GSkill.
These would make a great addition to a new FX-55 system. :)
hmm anymore benchies, preferably intel???
Onepagebook please limit the threads about your memory to one. Additionally, while it appears your memory is an excellent choice for oc'ers, I would like to see your numbers verified by some of our members as collaboration. It would do far more to promote your case if Oppainter, Lardarse, Macci or Fugger sang your praises for you. I also think you should let the members see your checksums in CPU-Z. ;)
I agree, it seems like rather heavy multi-threaded G-skill pimping. But didn't kingpib have it to 300 fsb aswell? =)
hey you, what about www.mips-computer.de?? I've also ordered my PC 4400 GSkillz there and i hope taht i get them soon...... :banana4:Quote:

I am cpu limited on 1:1 1T ram speed for higher IMO. Impressive performance IMO for reasonably priced rams. I think Onepagebook is a bit excited about his company''s products, and yes the several threads to get a bit confusing. Let's not turn on him yet though :).
Keep in mind, that they offer the DDR550-2.5-4-4-8 sticks, not 2.5-3-3-7...Quote:

Not to flame the guy or anything, he is a VERY good OCer from what i have seen. High BH-5 as well...
where can i get the 2.5-3-3-7 GSKILL DDR 550 in europe? and where in europe can i get the 2.5-4-4-8 Gskill DDR 550? is there any big difference in Sandra benches or generally in speed between 2.5-3-3-7 and 2.5-4-4-8??????
yeah, can somebody post different scores from 2.5-3-3 to 2.5-4-4 in sandra and 2k1? :)
(didnt i ask this before? LOL :D)
Sticky!!!!!
@ saaya: i posted that already ;)
but i post it again - only for you my dear :D http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/...ilies/kiss.gif :D

3DMark01SE - 2.5-4-4-7-1T

(i've to remind you all, that 3dmark01 ALWAYS gets around 100points less after running the bench a SECOND time immediatly - so, the lose between 2.5-3-3-7 and 2.5-4-4-7 is around 400-500, not 500-600p ;))
SO.......Here we can see the S-Sandra is NOT good to see how well or not do some Rams........Comparing with the 3DMark2001 we ca see that THERE IS a BIG influence - difference from 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 7 to 2.5 - 4 - 4 - 7...... :)
Hipro is right, how about some 'real game' performance and not just 3Dmark?
ok, i tested again with different timings.....man, trust me: timings doesn't bring a lot to performance - look at this (whired) results:
it brings just TINY, TINY more performance (especially @ SuperPI)
9x272,5MHz @ 2.5-4-4-8-1T / stock-GPU
2k1: 24247points /// SuperPI-1M: 34sec /// 4M: 2min 51sec
--------------------------------------------
9x272,5MHz @ 2.5-4-4-7-1T / stock-GPU
2k1: 24211points /// SuperPI-1M: 34sec /// 4M: 2min 51sec
--------------------------------------------
9x272,5MHz @ 2.5-4-3-7-1T / stock-GPU
2k1: 24855points /// SuperPI-1M: 34sec /// 4M: 2min 50sec
--------------------------------------------
9x272,5MHz @ 2.5-3-3-7-1T / stock-GPU
2k1: 24752points /// SuperPI-1M: 34sec /// 4M: 2min 49sec
What are the differences in stability and max clock:
2.5-3-3-7 vs. 2.5-4-4-8 ?
Then run the same tests...
I've just ordered 1G (2*512) of Gskill PC4400 2.5 3 3 7 (280€) and i will test it with my fx53, I hope more than 275 and why not 300 2.5 3 3 7 with more volts!
Ok, Ive got my new DFI 250GB and finally tested my Gskill PC4400 1GB.
First with 1 dimm:
2.7V Vddr.

http://www.xs4all.nl/~famchow/Memory...400/DDR600.JPG
Just received my pair of G.Skill today and I'm kinda dissapointed with the results. At 2.85v 2-2-2-5, I can run SANDRA up to 210Mhz only and at 2.5-3-3-7, there's loads of memtest errors at 275Mhz......
I feel so like tossing them out of the window right now and go grab some of the OCZ with the new revision of TCCD! LOL
just relax a little
new revision? all TCCD's are the same...OCZ does not make them. (chips)Quote:

I know that Samsung makes the chips. It's just that according to the OCZ guys in this forum, with the new batch of chips that they (OCZ) received, Samsung made some modifications/revisions to them that makes them respond better to higher voltage and oc better.Quote:

i'm using dimm1/2 on k8n neo2....
I have the same problem. Could get it down to about 40 Errors each Pass.Quote:

ATM I'm running 280Mhz 2-4-4-8 1T @ auto voltage.
Does any1 know why I get only about 7GB/s bandwith while onepagebook had > 8gb/s ?
See this screenshot
it's normal, the bandwith in sandra depend of the frequency of the cpu!Quote:
