It's a Zalman 9500 cooler on his CPU, and although it has more copper then fan, it still has a fan and is thus not cooled passively :) (you can see a minor blue glow from the fan on one of the pictures)Quote:

BTW, why do people blur out some of the numbers when they take pictures of their CPUs?
Because everyone is usually overclocking and it voids the warranty. So if they were to return their chips, the serial # can't be tracked..Quote:

I can see a Thermaltake NB cooler and in the background the Zalman 9500 in first pic; in second pic I see a Zalman or stock NB cooler and a Zalman 7000CU. So don't think it's same PC ;)Quote:

Here are a few photos of my rigs cooling. Not only do i have two 80mm front intakes, but two 80mm side intakes, an 80mm rear exhaust, and another 80mm top blowhole. ALL are panaflo H1A fans. The CPU is cooled by a 92mm Panaflu U1A fan and stuck to that is a Delta 70mm fan blowing cold air directly over my memory.

My modified Vantec Iceberq GPU cooler. After a little time with the dremel grinding out sections so they wouldn't touch various motherboard components, it dropped my chipset temp around 8'c under full load. Now it hovers around 27'c under full load.

Alex
Very nice man:clap:
What cpu cooler did you have before the 9500?
I had a CNPS 7000Cu LED..... I can OC the CPU even more, but I need a better PSU. I was prime stable at 2.8+ Ghz, but wouldnt game. My guess is that the PSU didnt have juice for both CPU and GPU.

Too loud! That CPU heatsink is only meant to remove so much heat...simply putting a larger fan on it won't help...you'd need to switch to a different type of cooling.
rofl not really. i think im doing preety good at 35c idle for a P4. before it was idling at 53c. now it doesent even go up that high for a load temp. doesent even break 51c full load.Quote:

Thx for the good comments... I know that it aint casemoddet with fans all over.. I was into casemods once, but im over that. I will rather have a stylish, clean looking, silent case.
But even though its silent, it is still quite cold - Cpu: 47°C, Gfx: 53°C, Mobo: 34°C, Mem: 36°C, chipset 40°C and HD 26°C All Load temps.

Just curious, but does your CPU run a fair deal hotter when the side is on? I've also got the BT in a similar Lian-Li and the load temps side on to side off can be as great as 10c...Quote:

Well, the BT needs a good airlflow, and a lot of room to work optimal. I havent had problems furfilling that with my case. Depending on how fast the fans in ur case run, it looks like u are all covered.
Oh, btw.. U are having ur frontfans blowing cold air inside the case, and the backfans sucking the hot air out, right? I have chosen not to mount the 80mm fan in the top of my case, as the holes for the fans are too small, and makes the most silent fans, noisy as hell! Maybe it can ruin ur airflow somehow? Try turning it off, and see if there is any difference.
Yeah, front fans pulling air in, rear fans throwing it out. The top fan also throws air out, and having it unpluged doesn't really do anything for temps/noise as the loudest fans in here are the 2 in the TT PSU..
I've got afew extra fans that I will put in and see if they help push air towards the BT.
