Here is my current setup, but you can't see much of the WC hardware. The pump is MCP350, rad is Weapon 2-302+shroud, fans are 2 Sanyo Denki San Ace, block is MCW6002.

Had to do something with the hdds, the rad is huge.
updated pic of mine. Sorry for the poor quality stupid USA made camera phones are horrible.
When my Asus mobo and X800XT are back from RMA I will update this

Hopefully I'l have all my ducks in a row and possibly have my external box up and providing real cooling.
-Brandon
What's the issue with the L30? grinding, vibration? If it's a "meat" grinder kinda sound then drain your loop and inspect your pumps shaft to see if its grooved. If it is Ive got a phone number to Hydor USA, they can get you replacement parts.
-Brandon
Hehe I just noticed you're in Europe, it then might be easier for you to contact Hydor directly since they are an Italian company.
hum, i got the same pump. it isnt worth to use it.
now i use eheim, i love it :)
Sorry Brandon, it's already too late 'cos it was my 2nd who did the same noise and too much vibratoin, too much heat and I just received my new MCP600 from Cooltechnica.
as a side note I'm new to WC and somehow I think is my fault so no worries, thanks for the offer though
New shafts corrected the noise I had in both of mine. Now all i hear is the in rush of air thru the vanes of my rad.
What are those 2 fans doing next to ech other on your rad?Quote:

My new watercooling setup:
New Radiator(Watercool HTF 3 Tripple X with 1x Silent Fan and 2xAc Ryan Modding fans. Than i replaced my old Innovatek X-Flow with a pure copper block and i added the Gpu-X Heatkiller rev2 with mosphet cooler to my graphic card.
Got ~50C load under prime on my Cpu
and ~45C load on my graphic card, both ocled ;>
Will do a last update soon.. on the top of my case are many cables because i used many cable adaptors for the fans.. so i will get a fan controller that there aren´t so much cables and the system is also a bit quieter, maybe i will also get some new Ide cables because the ones from DFI are not twistable.
Dont wana sound like a mum but... when your pump fails and the water warms up the hoses warm up and the water expands so the hoses might come off..... :stick:Quote:

Well, here is a pic of my WC system.
Its formed by Honda Civic radiator w/ 2xVantec Tornado 92mm, custom CPU Waterblock made by me, simulating a comercial design (Ketchak nº4) and home made waterblocks by p0stman, a Spanish waterblock maker.
The pump is a Hydor L20 (yes, this big :banana::banana::banana: :()
In this photo, the system is mounted in an Abit KV8 Pro, 3200+ NC and 9800 Pro. Now it is mounted in a DFI NF4 Ultra D, 3200+ and Leadtek 6600GT, but without the chipset waterblock, because its hard to mount on the DFI NF4 and the mobo perform very well without more cooling in the chipset... :D

My watercooling :) not so kick ass but i like it :) (very messy :D)
edit: pics to big, just click the links :)
Thanks for your advice but there are silicon hoses in my pc. These hoses dont extend with increasing temperature. And also good fit on the fitings without hoses clamps ;)Quote:

thats is the smallest tubing ive ever seen!
why is the fan outside of the case?
Tubing? Dunno what u mean. :)
The fan is in the sidedoor, so he is not "outside"! ;)
What blue LED fan is that? Looks good.

acidbaby, its IV line :p: lol
Those crazy euro guys and there 1/8" tubing
Nice, I have similiar setup in progress only difference is pump location mine isQuote:

I actually am using panaflo L's. They aren't supposed to work with radiators this thick but I thought I'd try it anyway. I have no temp issues at all and I run them only about 1/2 way on my fan controller. I sealed around the metal shroud and between the shroud and the fans with foam tape.
My ambient temps are pretty low right now (18-20C), we'll see how this works in the summer!
Im european as well, and I use 1/2" tubing... :D :DQuote:

Nice, I am a big fan of the wave master.
Cashman - I think you probably said on EP-UK but why did you loose the phase change? I only ask because I'm wondering whether to move from phase to water.
Anyway - really like the look of your setup.
Hey Nicholarse,
I sold my Mach II GT because I was just fed up of a number of things. Sure the overclocks were amazing and the benchmark scores were something else.
These are the things that started to annoy me about the Mach II GT and my Previous Vapochill and why I changed to water:
1) Fedup of removing the mobo and ripping all the seal string off everythime I change CPU/Mobo.
2) My missus uses the PC for the odd letter or bit of work and I didnt like her using a PC running at its max OC for that. Esp as if summat went wrong, she would just leave it.
3) The amount of elec the unit uses was costly.
4) I never felt 100% comfortable leaving the PC on for 24 hours whilst I downloaded stuff off Bittorrent.
5) I got bored of Benching and only wanted a straight forward PC that would ALWAYS work and yet still allow me to OC and play my games.
6) I fancied a little bit of Silence :)
All in all I have loved my Phase change units but I now just want an easy life. So far Watercooling has been more fun and really nice and simple.
Argh! I really can't decide....
I agree with all of those things you say, but then I start thinking of the benches...
Here’s a pic of one of my water-cooled rigs.
This is my Barton 2500+ and external water-cooling case:

Picture is freakin huge! So to avoid annoying everyone, you get a thumbnail, lol. Swiftech everything except the Danger Den TDX-S block. Cant see them, but on the back of the twin rads there are twin enermax speed adjustable fans that I crank up for gaming.

one of these days im gonna make a lil box like that for my WC kit :) my box right now is too cramped... give me a couple mins, and ill have a few pics of it
Edit: scratch that, i cant find the stupid digital camera... im guessing my parents took it to their work... :slapass: bad parents....

Thanks, yeah i made them at work, nice stainless steel. They are definatly needed. The VX is nice and cool at 3.4V and the X800 definatly needs them blowing on it, the black fan especially on the Vcore mofsets and stuff.Quote:

im not sure wat u mean by series, but is my config incorrect?
are the 2 pumps in the same loop?
Thats wrong..the two pumps should not be inthe same loop or in series..parrallel would be better but still the water flows faster from the faster jump with more pressure into the slower l20, which in the end will damage it.
Exactly...Quote:

Hey Rahssan,
very nice setup you got there; I have the same case as you but am wondering where you put your rad?
Looks very neat in there :D

If you look in the first messy pic you can see the bottom of the rad. It's stored at the very top beside the cpu. The top blowhole is for the rad.Quote:

thx, but it isn't that bright at night, it is just, because my come doesn't like uv light. actually it isn't ready (*this weak will come a new pump for example*), but i actually have two big probs, mainly i don't have enough mony, and when i have time i normaly have no mony :( .
