lol...
Didn't seem to help me much, but I'm still tweaking.

OK guys impressed by this mem...maybe for those on new chipset is no biggie but i tested 2 kits on my EP45 USB3P and this kit its the most simplest thing i ever tested...just tightened timmings put vdimm under stock and went into W7x64 and shoot this
X3380@ 4500
Stalent 2200 CL8@ 1600 6-6-6-18 PL7 1,63vdimm

lol
try on P45 would be nice zsamz_ i can do magic with this stick on 1600 didnt even went over stock, i dunno how many volts i can give them for 24/7 real vdimm NOT set on bios...
for now i got 1600 6-6-5-18 PL7 2T @ 1.65 real and also with bit of vdimm passed 6-6-4-15 PL7 2T @ 1.68 real
Gskills at 2000 8-9-8-24 PL8 1T scored less than the timmings before...
So far still cant boot this kit at 2000 dunno why i get the red screen saying overclock failed...and i dont want to give volts to them without a reason, maybe they need it
Any help i appreciatte so far kick ass kit

Do you guys think the Super talent 2000Mz Cas8 and the 2133mhz cas8 are elpida Hypers also?
andressergio congrats very nice on P45 chipset :)
several folks have called and emailed Super Talent and yes confirmed super talent 2000/2200 8-8-8-24 stuff are Elpida Hyper see http://i4memory.com/f83/super-talent...00-cas8-23675/ :)
they're 2000c8 ones right not 2200c8 ?
just got my set of 2000 cas8 tks radaja
these sets like the juice
1.67v only primed 5 min n passed memtest
needs a 1.67v for 1720 cas6 my ocz need 1.65
but looks like its good for 1800mhz cas6
Where can i get these in australia???
wow looks like you got a decent kit too:up:
heres a link to the ebay store.
gigworld-super talent memory
i put the ebay link in post 223 above this one for you
here it is again though.

It's suprising how much stock of Elpida Hyper Super-Talent has. They've already sold a ton of these, and half their kits went out of stock, yet they are now BACK in stock.
I noticed the 2000 CL7 are now gone so maybe they binned those to keep the 2200 CL8 in stock.
How do they go against the kingstons i think they are, and the corsair gt's? say the corsair 2000's gt's
They are as good as the 2000 GT's, as for the kingstons you'd have to give us the model. I'm currently reviewing the kit @ CAS 6 for Techreaction.net...
Both use the same IC's right ? the gt's & Super talents..... Which kit you reviewing mate? How well do the kingston hyper X scale compare with these dimms
Nice, Can you PM me final results/timings/speed etc?
thanks mate

Not finished with testing yet.
Put the UD7 up for sale on evil-Bay and grabbed a(nother) P6X58D-Premium. Initial testing still shows I can't get DDR3-2000 7-8-7 or 7-7-7 8x HyperPi 32M stable on stock 1.66v when running 166BCLK 2:12 or 200BCLK 2:10 ("Not Exact in Round" errors). This is using either my proper STT PC3-16000 C7 kit or the three PC3-17600 C8 sticks. Lowering to 8-8-8 I was able to drop my VTT to 1.45v however for 8x 32M stability.
Time for RMA?
It's weird, they pass Memtest with no problems but not 8x HyperPi 32M at 1.66v at those settings mentioned above. More testing will have to be done...
Finally got my hands on a decent 920, can wait to test my C8 2000mhz kit and see what they will do. Hoping they will best my Perfect storm kit.
yes memtest not too good for mem testing I think. Better Hyper Pi for a quickie or Lynx/Prime for longer test
i dunno, linx stresses your memory so hard out that you wont ever stress your ram that far when encoding/gaming etc etc, I think memtest should be fine tbh..
What about the Super Talent Project X 2000C7 that are selled in 2gb modules for U$s99. on EBAY?
Are these the same as the Speed series?
yes they are the same, and honestly i dont think they are even binned differently
very nice write up BeepBeep2:up:
Yep but they clock worse than these.
the GT 1600 C6 and GTX2 are the same chips, but binned way, way higher. ;)
These have a better PCB I believe, may be similar to the GT 1600/ GTX2 PCB. It's an 8-layer BrainPower PCB instead of the normal 6-layer you usually see.
I wonder if anyone can tell me if these are available in the uk. I have searched for weeks and came up with nothing. Thanks for your time.
ok, but the ADAta w/ heatpipe and my GT 2000 C8 have 8 PCB layers also. Im I wrong?
I mean this ADATA, why nowbody buying this for AMD?
2200Mhz C8 2Oz/ PCB 8 Layers

Anyway, I've ordered 2x of the 2x 2GB 2200 C8 SuperTalent, should be here soon... bough when it was only $189
The adata performs worse than the 2000C8 did at the same price
3x2GB Super Talent PC3-17600 WS220UB2G8@
DDR3-2100 8-8-8-24 2T 1.76v 22x175BCLK 8x HyperPi 32M
Test Setup:
Intel Xeon W3540 D0 (Batch # 3851A257)
Asus P6X58D Premium BIOS 0703
Corsair CMPSU-750TX
Thermalright Venomous X + 2x Scythe Ultra Kaze 2000RPM
Windows 7 Enterprise x64
Totally changed my bench setup from Gigabyte to Asus and using a 2008-manufactured W3540 chip. VTT is down considerably from when I was using the UD7 but for some reason I need a lot of VDIMM, I can only guess that 0.20v is the optimum difference between the QPI and memory volts for this CPU. When I tried 1.66v BIOS set at these same settings, 8x HyperPi 32M would cause the system to restart.

DOnt get me wrong these sticks are great, still prefer my gt's as their binned higher :D
A little question for you guys: would you get this Corsair 2000 C8 instead of the Supertalent 2000 C7 or this G.Skill sticks?
The numbers say the Supertalent are the best, but that Corsair kit seems to be gold also.
I'll be using them on my X48 platform until i upgrade to the X58.
Thanks
Until now it seems that is the order:
Perfect storm 2133 C8 < HyperX 2100 C8 ? < Corsair GT 2000 C8 < STT 2200 C8 < GT 2000 C7 < GT 1600 C6 < GTX2
Im having a hard time tryng to get my GT 2000 C8 @ 1700Mhz C6-6-6-18-24 @ 1.65v
This is what a got for a while:
http://i49.tinypic.com/21bm4n6.png
Me too heheheh, I might stay w/ 8GB STT for me ($189 each 4GB kit), that still cheaper then a GTX2 (actually there is none of this available anymore)
Did u got better OC w/ that value in 12T or 8T?
Thank you guys
I though it would be better more speed and higher CAS (2000 C8) than 1600 C7/C6. I think i'll pick the 3x2 STT 2200 C8 since the only website where I saw the GT 1600 C7 at a reasonable price was this, and the Supertalent are also 2200 C8....
I could also buy the GT 2000 C8 and underclock them as you did, but i'm having some troubles with the overseas shipping on Tigerdirect
Corsair gt's? I believe their hypers mate..
Old C7: http://nx.i4memory.com/reviewimages/...000C7GT_17.jpg
New C7: http://www.overclockers.com/forums/a...5&d=1264480432
Rev 2.1 = Hyper
And what about this one?
http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=...nel-Memory-kit
2133 C8 should be hyper also?
No those are going to be hypers too. I have a set of Dom 1866 C9 V2.2 that I am 99% sure that are BBSE that will do 7-8-7-21 on *some* i7's at 2000mhz if their IMC's are just retarded strong on a single stage. The efficiency falls off a cliff after about 975mhz though. This is without B2B of course and at 1.74vdimm
Should be Hyper with just a lower bin than the 2200 C8's
Shoot man all of those super talent kits are cheap vs Corsair's offerings. Hell you can get 6GB of super talents for the same price as 4GB of the Adata 2200C8's on newegg
I am not sure that Corsair bin the Hyper better- I am very satisfied with my STT, the 2200 C8 as well as the 2000 C7 Project X- they are way beyond the specs Memtest86 stable and if I hadnīt problems with IMC/Board Combi which only allows me to test 32M with straigt timings to 1150 ca. I would have reached more than 1140 C8-8-8-24 at 1,66V
Well, i havenīt ripped off the Heatspreaders, and got the 2000 C7 yesterday- having started testing today at 35°Celsius in germany my first impressions are the 2000 C7 are better- need lower Voltage for same timings- Memtest stable at 1170 C9-9-9-24 1T at 1,66V on an GA-UD5 with an i860, and at least 1200 with same Timings and V 1M- not more tested yet, on C8 they do better as well
Yes, mine(the C7) have black PCB- but I donīt think you made a mistake, the 2200 C8 are wonderful Rams:up:
Yes, the dual channel kit 2200 I bought look like the ones in the start post with black PCB and HS- as I went for the 2000 C7 I also bought a single 2200Cl8 as backup- interestingly this one has a green PCB^^
