What is the lowest multiple?
It says you are using x8, but the screenshot also says 12-16 but is obviously wrong.
I had 3.0 ES and abit lets you use multi 8x.(mine was 12-15)
Other mobos does not let you .
Amazing work George............... and of course don't stop and keep going for 45................:toast: :) :) :banana3:

And hey, more info on the mem caps please, :)
That is seriously hot!!!!!

hipro5, that is simply incredible. Some of these mods are amazing and too bad we can't get Abit in here to implement them in future motherboards. I just read everything and I am blown away. Makes me wish I kept my Max3 so I could do the mods. Thank you for sharing.

i just took a quick look at your WRs you fed your mem 5.26 volts! and how much did that pc3200 need to run 291? i guess it was some BH5?
about 3.8vQuote:

Incredible work.
I only wish I had the balls and steady hand to try all those mods! :hehe:
btw, what did your unbuffered mem bw look like?
it wouldn't matter if the clockgen people rewrote the software. The clockgenerator on the board wont go over 400mhz. So anything over that would lock.
Hipro,
what about a turbo PLL for the clockgen to go farther?
also, how about a shot at the highest 1:1 with that board?
I'd love to see that :)
BTW, here is the link to the manf. spec sheet.

nice chip speed but what I'm really salivating over is the fact that that memory is in DUAL CHANNEL.....I will be your slave and kiss your feet if you can tell me how to get my memory to do 480mhz dual channel let alone 530mhz! Oh, btw, each of my sticks can do 530mhz 2-2-2-5 easy @ 3.3v in single channel. How can I get them to run Dual channel above 450? I am dying to know....
Hes giving them some suicide volts :slobber:Quote:

Ok.. Now when 400fsb is maxed your still at stock speed...
Time to up the multi?
Good job anyway hipro :)
Er i wouldn't say that. Hipro5 has accomplished a great feat and i wouldn't take anything away from that. But vdd and vtt mod was done before the ic7 hit store shelves in europe and usa. Mods were done in china/japan/tawain hell i can't keep track. Vagp was done a long time ago. I've been doing the vdd/vtt/Vnorth mod since a couple days after i got the ic7 when it first came out. Hipro5 has in some regards tried and tested and improved some of the mods as a few of us have. I've been looking for the Vchip mod for awhile. I like Hipro5's idea of adding caps to Vnorth and Vcore mosfets. That isn't new, but is always a good idea to do. When you combine a lot of mods and find a mobos weakness and fix it like Hipro5 has done better than anyone else then your mobo can really shine. A great combination of mods and lots of hard work paid off for Hipro5 and i think that says a lot.Quote:

I heard this a while back, is it true, and is it safe to crank it up without fears of frying my Radeon, as I could do with some more vdd I reckon?Quote:

ultimate score with my 2.4C M0 and P4C800
just vdd mod = 2.06v
I'm sure vagp = vdd because I get an improvement in 3:2 or 1:1
soon I'll have a great 2.8C M0

It may be but it doesn't need to be increased until 300fsb or more...even at 292 it does nothing for me, but my card starts tearing in Nature so I know for a fact that goes to your AGP slot as well.
nice work, both of you

i'm very upset :(
your supposed to test it without a mobo first. are you sure you have the variable pot on full resistance with ground first?
yes pot with full res... how can i test it without the mobo? what are the wires i have to connect together?
sorry for the OT :(
connect the GREEN wire on the ATX connector to any ground. it will turn on...

I still want to see a 3dmark bench at the highest possible fsb you can run at. Preferably with an R9700 or R9800 agp vid card. I couldn't bench above 315 myself. Someone give it a go. I don't care about score you get. Just need to know if you can get it to work or not.
What freq is the crystal on your card comparred to on a 5900/5950/whatever?
I can bench with the CPC enable at 355MHz and with the CPC disable at 362MHz fsb Dual DDR........The problem is that I have a 9600XT(not mine) witch will be fine I think.... I can also find a "default" GeForce 5950 ultra to do so........BUT I have a cold boot problem at 346MHz fsb so I have boot and go into windows with 345MHz fsb and "play" with the clockgen to do so......Then the 3DMark will "see" the booted fsb which will be 345MHz ........Quote:

try to set the FSB with clockgen and logoff with windows and log in again

Maximum i managed to get from my old early P4P800 sample - 340FSB 3DMarkable.
impressive 340 fsb with p4p800 O_o... is it rev 2.0?

No, that's one of the earliest samples, ASUS sent it just after release...
i see... i've been told that p4c800 rev 2.0 are much more stable regarding vcore stability
hipro5 ' i have few question to u :
1.what HDD are u using and to where u connect them ?(promise / intel chip )
2.what is the temp's of the chip set ?
question 4 all :
i have the 2.8C M0 and i cant do anything above the 250 FSB :(
the setup:
p4c800 delux (memory volt modded
geil 3700 golden dregon
HDD's : seagate 80GB
seagate 120GB 8MBcache SATA on ICH5
leadtek 5600
zalman 7000CU
i fixed the agp/pci to 66/33 MHz
voltages:
memory 2.75V
cpu : 1.6V
what should i do ?
and of course :
hipro5 well done!
what does memtest say? i think if the memis 1:1 then its maxed, otherwise try more vcore
1. I'm using Western Digital 80GB JB(not SATA) alone or 2 x WD 80GB JB on a Highpoint RAID controlerQuote:

hmm, everything is possible, though i tried 5 different P4P800 (including rev.2.0) and no one can even come close to that one - 320FSB was the max for the best from other 4 boards. One died with smoke under NB while i tried 290 for the first time on it (couldn't work on 300 at all), two was around 300 and one - 320.
My current P4C800-E maxes out on 320 too (still on aircooled NB but i don't think it'll help to raise clocks) :(
i have a 3.0C so 300x15=4500 i dont need more really ;) But i was wondering why rev 2 boards are so bad
