Yeha, that's what prompted my earlier post...cut-paste job, I'm sure.
Yeha, that's what prompted my earlier post...cut-paste job, I'm sure.
I just ordered one because I want to compare with my adata.:p:
Do I see barbed water cooling fittings in the picture next to 'Actively Cooled Memory for Maximum Overclocking'?!
I ordered the hyperx version, lol and what do you know I go away for 2 days get back now I have to order this.
review of the hyperx will be up tonight 'not in this thread btw' as yes I know its a corsair gt thread and ill counter that with my gt thread next week :)
lol@andre as wanting to comapre :)
OMG, awesome. :D
Question, thought these was gonna be water-cooled?
These should be able to work on all x58 boards right, like the P6T Deluxe?
I just spent my food stamp money for all of 2009 on a 6GB 2000MHz DOMINATOR GT kit.
Ok ordered 1 set of the sexiest ramms ever ! 6GB 2000MHZ Dominator GT kit
I live in the netherlands i wonder how long it would take ups to deliver ! >_< Cant wait
Wow price is not very hot. Honestly, this is just memory and does not warrant the price. I don't think you're going to see night and day differences between this kit at $500+ vs another kit at $200. Performance gains won't even be comparable to upgrading a CPU or GPU when it comes to real life applications.
hey women have shoes men have smoking hot ramms k ?
this is XS whoever doesnt say $600 for a kit of 6gig isnt worth it here needs ot buy a dell.
cellshock pc14400 gtr ic was some of the best ddr3 2x1gig kit ever made and I paid $729 for it when it came out and the results it made in its lifespan here more than justify even what a boxes intel extreme cpu thats not a gem justify :)
wanna be the guy that said well in farcry i get almost the same fps as you take it to a diff forum :)
Any ETA for the 3GB set yet?
They have been released !
https://shop.corsair.com/store/item_view.aspx?id=833083
My kit has been shipped!
Oops, it's now fixed! Thanks for heads-up! :)
BTW, don't forget about TR3X6G1866C7GTF kit, if 2000C7GTF is not your fancy. It's a little brother, but also quite capable ;)
1. Water-cooling block as well as TEC setup will be sold separately as add-ons. These should be in stock next week, as far as I know.
2. Both 3x2GB Dominator GT kits have been verified to work at its rated specification on Gigabyte EX58-UD5 (F4 BIOS), Asus P6T Deluxe (1102 BIOS), Asus Rampage II Extreme (BIOS 1001) and DFI LANParty UT X58-T3eH8 (LX58D114 BIOS).
We're working on it, and at the same time trying to gauge real interest in 3GB Dominator GT solution.
nice work fellas
eva >> looking good man.....let's see some monster 32M SuperPi runs...6GB kits should give you a serious boost in 32M compared to 3GB >> not to mention the crazy ass timings at such high speeds
i was strangling my 1866C8D kit that was initially released which i believe is Samsung ICs to hit 2GHz 7-8-7-20-1T and much higher volts (as i had NB at 4.6-4.8GHz) but i feel these will probably need a tiny bump over stock volts only for monster NB speeds
Michal so these ship to australia as well direct from Corsair? I'll spread the word if so :)
:rocker:
6Gb kit incoming to Puerto Rico confirmed :D , Aquamark Killers :D
Thanks to PaoloA@corsairmemory.com for the help on getting tru with my shipment overseas , thanks paolo :)
Heya Dino!
Well, TR3X6G2000C7GTF will be sold directly through Corsair Store only.
However TR3X6G1866C7GTF may be available in the channel sometime soon. But don't take my word for it :p: - our job is to make sure we can build it (and make sure OCers like the results), and other people take care of the rest :)
no worries
i've let the fellas at OCAU know
http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh...d.php?t=753097
Allready out of stock >_< happy mine are shipped !
I think i just bought the last kit as AceBaran said they are of stock already and my order just went tru 3 minutes ago lol
I received track number.:D
All good here i just recived my tracking number too :D , will arrive on 02-11-09

It looks like Corsair accepts food stamps!

We are happy to inform you that your Corsair Web Store Order has shipped by UPS Ground.
You can track your order via UPS
Please note it may take up to 24 hours for tracking data to become available.
Oh well, that's the gamble I took, I ordered the OCZ3B2000LV6GK Blade Series, thinking they would beat the Corsair's to Market so I'd have something to compare with. As it turns out, Corsair beat the pants off of OCZ on the release date. Hell I already paid my CC on the pre order. If the next batch comes out before the Blade series release, I may just have to cancel that order and buy these =)
time ti update my avatar. lol
730 euros 6Gb memory kits are sold out. Where is the economical crisis on this? I dont know what you people are doing for a living, but althought i can also buy this ram i find this price plain insane :shakes:
Ofc i have to agree that they look sexy and that these would also look sexier on my evga classified board
€730?
I just converted the value they give me for the 1866 kit. $615 = €490 so $100 more expensive memory can't cost €730...
it is 729$ with vat and ups costs what is 524 euros in total.. dollar is 1.39 to the euro !
Just checked an online currency converter. I think they have the latest exchange rates, dont they?
Ok thanx for the info. I didnt know this. So is there any more "hidden" costs other than the final total cost corsair display?
There are no "hidden costs". During checkout, there will be sales tax or VAT added to your total, plus shipping costs. Your credit card company takes it from there and applies currency exchange rate.
Sorry, I must have missed that question... Currently, only 1866C7GTF and 2000C7GTF triple channel kits are being build with this IC. As soon as we have enough solid data about AM3 DDR3 memory performance, and there is demand for ultra-high performance dual-channel kits for this platform, Corsair will definetely support AMD enthusiasts.
We expected solid interest, but what happened kind of took us by surprise :) There will be another batch available in stock early next week, for those that missed the opportunity yesterday.
However, I'd still like to point out that 1866C7GTF is still available, sporting the same bold looks, differently bined but the same IC and at lower price point.
:toast:
Will you have a shorter height heatsink in the future for these?
GT 2000 sticks have arrived at:
LOUISVILLE,
KY, US 02/05/2009 12:51 P.M. ARRIVAL SCAN
damm the one day i don't check is the day it was out ahh all sold out :(
Seriosly and I thought I lived here, three days pass and I missed out. Oh wel, I can wait a week lol
good for you! Welp, I'm kinda getting the run around from OCZ. Their standard answer for the Blade series release is 4 weeks. However when I talked to my Vendor, he talked with OCZ yesterday, and got a Next week ETA on my pre-order. So I guess I will see next week
I also ask myself that. I could save up and buy this RAM, but time is not right and that money just cant go to anything unneccesary right now. Oh well, good luck to the ones who will be enjoyning this RAM sticks soon :D
...and I thought I spent a premium with my CSX Diablo GTS...
just curious
the 1866 are using the same IC's
but are binned lower
is that because the IC's are inferior
or because corsair wants to make a wider range for the GT.
reason is the voltage of 1.65v for 1866 7-8-7-20
I would like to ask something else. Dont you guys think that Adata 2133X are better that the GTs, since they can run the same 2000C7 spec with lower voltage?
Andre's results is just one set among many and memory clocks also dependent on cpu's memory controller as well. So exact same memory kit may perform differently on different cpus. Also remember sub zero cooled i7 cpu will also cool memory controller allowing higher mem clocks than what you and I can achieve on air/water.
hi all,
Does any one know where can I buy this memory in UK.
Regards
You need to buy directly from Corsair, though bachus said somewhere here that the 1866 maybe availible in other places but nothing sure.

No i mean both brands may have varying results depending on how good/bad your core i7 cpu's memory controller is and board/bios. What really will separate memory will be amount of cpu vtt/uncore volts required and that is solely dependent on your cpu and board cpu vtt power/design > http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...oc.aspx?i=3502
eh no bro read till the end
he was trying to generalize
that qpi 4000mhz for rams at 2000mhz depends on proc imc/mobo and some even say depends on cooling
he just reiterating his experienceQuote:
I conferred back with Gary on his results, he’s got three retail 920s in his repertoire (with a fourth on its way) and his results are erratic in this department too. One of his processors needs high levels of Vcore to make 4GHz possible, well in excess of 1.50V, and refuses to POST with Bclk ratios set higher than 200, regardless of VTT/Core voltages. The other two (3837A)are better than mine for IMC VTT scaling and can also handle 6GB triple channel memory at 2000+MHz with a little persuasion. Something I found impossible on my 3838A processor with 3GB of memory let alone 6GB. Also, both of his processors allow for 3.8GHz operation at stock or below stock core voltages with VTT near 1.15V. Both processors allow clock speeds to reach about 4.3GHz on 1.45V of VCore, but VTT required is near 1.425V on air cooling with a 2:8 memory ratio, change the memory ratio to 2:10 for DDR3-2000 and VTT requirements hit 1.50V, which also happens to be the maximum amount his processors will allow before throwing up a C1 code on POST.
but gary 920's had no issues.
thats what eva been trying to tell..
well just confirmed my 920 runs uncore 4000 without a fuss at 1.5v memtech hci stable 5000 percent ram at 800mhz
hopefully plugging this gt's would yield the same at 2000mhz.
for r2e 4000 uncore bclk 200
u need to find the right voltage for ioh/ich also..
no idea why but had to do this for mine.
not to ask a nub question here, would these work on ... say... 790i?
They should work in any ddr3 board, not guaranteed, but i want a set of these for my 790i striker 2.
Just received and installed 3x2 GT kit on BloodRage. Tcl set to 7 in bios BUT it reads 8 in memset and cpuz. XMP disabled and set timings manually. Running 1.66v dram, 200 bclk, 20x, 20x, 10x for 2005 Mhz. vtt 1.46. Memory timings 7-8-7-20-1t 72 Trfc. Displays as 8-8-7-20-1t-72. My GTR's will do that on this board. Any ideas?
Latest version of CPU-Z?
Yes. And Everest, Memset and cputweaker. Foxconn bios are deficient in other bios mem timing areas so this is no different I guess. Still testing.
I have a slightly better i920 now, does not clock as high as my week 38s but I can run VTT up to 1.58 now without a problem. Not that I ever want VTT that high but this CPU will do it and will run 6GB at CAS7 2000 without a problem now. I have the Corsair 6GB 2000 kit at 2050 7-8-7-20 1T with 1.65V and VTT at 1.51V on a 20x206 setting, 24/7 stable. Drop CPU multi to 19x and watch the voltages come down.... :D
Also, Andre was running VTT around 1.69V for his results, not good, not good at all on these CPUs.... ;)
Yeah I knew you folks said each cpu has differing cpu vtt handling but didn't realise how different it can be until i started testing my 2nd twin i7 920 3836A756 batch cpu.. if this thread post http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...9&postcount=37 doesn't illustrate the difference that can occur between cpus I don't know what will :)
no need Andre just show me super pi 32m at those clocks with CPU VTT 1.4v and 1.53v vdimm will be enough to prove your point :)Quote:
All on TRUE120 air with DFI UT X58-T3EH8 1/23 beta bios
i7 920 3836A756 #1
- max memtest86+ bootable bclk = 224 requiring 1.58-1.60v CPU VTT
- max super pi 32m bclk = 222bclk (without IOH/ICH voltage tweaks) & 228bclk (with IOH/ICH voltage tweaks) requiring 1.60-1.61v CPU VTT
- max CPUZ Validation = 230bclk requiring 1.60-1.63v CPU VTT
i7 920 3836A756 #2
- max memtest86+ bootable bclk = 229bclk requiring 1.40-1.48v CPU VTT
- max super pi 32m bclk = 227bclk (without IOH/ICH voltage tweaks) & ???bclk (with IOH/ICH voltage tweaks TBD) requiring 1.48-1.50v CPU VTT
- max CPUZ Validation = 231bclk requiring 1.50v CPU VTT
But yeah everyone knows higher mem clocks = more CPU VTT needed :)
lol...careful whenever you ask Andre to prove something. :p:
hmm theres one thing i want to add about uncore
on cooling .. theres something to do with idle/load difference or something else
this was the result at 200bclk ram at 1600mhz ioh at 1.24v ich at 1.24v HT OFF
intel stock
3.8ghz 1.182v memtest hci stable 5000% 1.6v set for uncore 4000
true+CM 90cfm
4ghz 1.3v memtest hci stable 5000% 1.58v set for uncore 4000
coolifreezone elite
4.2ghz 1.352 memtech hci stable 5000% 1.48-1.5v for uncore 4000
same proc.
still dont get it why. multi?? unknown temp factor??
thermal paste application exactly the same
polish with as5 and smoothen with tx2 on proc and heatsink
just wanted to share
cstkl1, better cooled cpu will also help better memory clocks but could be the balance needed between vcore, cpu vtt and vdimm - need more folks to investigate heh
very nice Andre, my cpu ain't as good can't handle DDR3-2008Mhz 7-8-7-20 1T at 1.4v CPU VTT
http://fileshosts.com/intel/DFI/DFI_...9m15s844ms.png
Those are really good results. Can you do that with an i7 920? The MSR tables could be setup differently depending on the memory multiplier, so the read/write leveling, clock skew delay/advances, and a whole host of other items that are setup dynamically at POST are subject to change.
How does it do with an actual load on it? I can pass 32m all day at those VTT/VCore rates on the Corsair, but once you start encoding a 1080P clip with Cyberlink Power Director 7, converting a 24MP image in Photoshop CS4, modifying a AVCHD clip in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, or playing Crysis, it is BSOD time. Hence, the higher rates to ensure stability in actual application testing, not a program barely stressing one core and less than 50% of the memory.
In the end it really does not matter what program, CPU model, or settings are used. The quality of the IMC is going to determine just how well the memory performs at each gate. I could use a crappy 965XE or 920 we have here and claim Corsair's latest GT 2000 kit is unable to hit 2000, much less 1600 at rated specifications. Would it be fair, no, but it is the truth in this case. The truth if you consider this particular 920 will not do more 3.6GHz stable, even at 1.50 VCore and memory refuses to go higher than 1520, regardless of VDimm/VTT/Ratio.
I just think people need to realize this up front when we are discussing results with memory products on the i7 platform, otherwise, there are going to be some very upset customers when their latest $600 memory kit will not do what is advertised or they push VTT so high that they are arguing with Intel for RMA approval. :D
That's a nice summary of the current state of Intel hardware. And you are right about impending consumer wrath when they begin to understand. My issue with the GT kit not being able to run cas 7 @2000Mhz on my BloodRage isn't because of a substandard imc or any ram problem. I tried 4 different chips, two of which are much better than average (3841Axxx). Maybe Corsair will have to include an asterisk with their adds that specify which boards are capable of running at those timings assuming you have a decent chip. Oh well, my DFI doesn't suffer with this kit. If only I could change the color...
hahah after shifting to a new casing the rv01
my nb temp shot up to 63c
not qpi 4000 is not stable
so gskill tech was right.. need good cooling on nb.
ah confirmed its the nb temp..
opened the case nb temp dropped to 55
and now memtest hci pass 1000%
before nb at 63 failed at 30% and bsod
did further testing with another r2e
failure happens at 60C. for r2e
yeah heat could be a factor when stressed with high CPU VTT
DFI System Temp = PWM temp
DFI Chipset Temp = NB temp
blend

eva here is one more funny thing
hx1000 vs op1000 ( not the e version..the previous long EPS)
corsair dominator 1600 C8
dram set 1.65 both in bios
Stable Clocks
op1000 7-8-7-20 1T
hx1000 8-8-8-24
probe reports the same 1.648v
weird aint it.
but then that op1000 had killed a few rams before including a am3 900 C3 1N.
hmmm
testing now with da1200 and pcp750
weird i'm using HX1000 right now with my DFI UT X58-T3EH8
I'll be setting up my DFI JR X58-T3H6 with OP1200 though
test bro so far da1200 also is doing 1600 7-8-7-20 1N
probe reading is the same.
i was like wth
for r2e found y the 60C temp
actually think is a one off case
the reason is the dram/qpi voltage card
took off the logo and put some heatsinks on it.
now np 4000 uncore stable again but with 7-8-7-20 1T tRFC 60
ok no sign of corsair shop updating the status of the stock or any email informing its available
safe to sleep. :P ..
I heard a rumor that the barbs for the optional watercooling blocks are made of aluminum. Is this correct and if so can they be easily swapped out?
awesome. I thought it would be odd. thanks.

I just received my hot ramm, they got even hotter when the ups delivery person said i had to pay a additional 106,90 euros tax
I had no idea about this, since i had payed tax for it allready which had been added to the price of my ramm...
my total expences makes a total of 660 euros = 917 dollars..........
first time i ever ordered something from abroad, it would have been nice tho if there was information about extra costs for people outside the US..
maybe i can get some tax back, have to check....
same here already send PM to Bachus and corsair website!
