Maybe draw me a quick paint picture? I dont quite understand where your describing.
Thanks for the comments guys!
I should have res mounting pics up sometime tonight :)
It's coming along great! Very cool. :D
what tubing is that on page 8? I'm guessing feser?
Here are res mounting pictures :)
I should receive my performance-pcs order this Wednesday (Tuesday if were lucky) and I will enter the final stages of the build :D
Needed to extend my mounting area and these extra PCI covers were just what the doctor ordered. Gotta throw the credit out to my pops who gave me the idea to use these :D

With reservoirs installed
http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/6...frost71hk9.jpg
Everything is nearly installed here. The 8-pin PCIE is a bit tight length wise so I'm going to fiddle with that a bit and see what I can come up with to make it a bit less forced looking.

Hope you guys enjoyed this one, I for one am thrilled that everything ended up actually fitting! One thing I did that you can't see here is added a hole to run sata cables through to attach to the mobo. The hole is completely behind the board so it isn't in the pics.
coming together very nicely, props indeed
L00king good! Love the way the rotaries are fitting nicely and blend in the build.
Not sure if this has been asked yet, but are you using blue tubing, or were you just testing fits?
Also, have you thought about using that nano fluid as your coolant? That would me amazing...
And lastly, are you painting anything white? White tops would be hot.
Good stuff!
the blue tubing is for the cpu/mosfets and the green is for the chipset and VGA :)
nano fluid would be very cool indeed, but It doesn't have the UV reactivity I want which is a major part of this build.
you know you've just reminded me that I've been an idiot and I completely forgot about painting the mounting bracket on my GTZ  I did paint my fuzion v1 bracket and it came out great so I will unmount the GTZ and paint that today I think.
that's a pretty trick res mounting solution. That is very innovative and your pop deserves the rights to be the first cardholder to the "Official SNiiPE_DoGG FanClub"
wow, i just realized you live in MASS!!! jeez, I must be blind... I'm a Western Mass native myself. Hatfield is where i reside. Must be nice to have someone to run to boston for ya, I'm on the complete opposite side of the state.
cool cool, mass is nice but it blows the big one that the closest store that sells anything remotely useful to computer building is 40min-3 hours away from me depending on traffic
Very clever Res Mounts. I like the white sleeving on the PSU cables too. Will be interested to see the GTZ painted. Great job.
Very nice build.
I just don't like the cable management. 8pin, 24pin and GPU cables, could have been placed better. Try to make all of them, to come from behind the MOBO, on the closest spot from their mobo connectors.
Well I figured I would end the night with a bid of bad/annoying news.
I need some things really urgently to finish this build, but they are late coming from performance-pcs and won't arrive until the 5th of january :( no more real updates until then, the entire build is riding on 2 special fittings and some acrylic
looks good, like the braided powerlines for the 24pin and gpu
I really like the res mounts....tell your pops. :)
I like your setup, especially all your nice angled fittings.
I do not like your individually braided wires. I think it looks hilarious, you turned all the small harnesses into HUGE ones... abit silly imho.
Hey very nice build! Is it nesseccary to cool the moseft on the dfi board? I have the p35 version, I have the stock cooler on the vreg and a mcw30 on the north like you do. I am just wondering if theres any benifit to cooling the vreg that you know of... In your build it looks really nice, that block is just... expensive :)
unless you have a quad core the mosfet is not worth watercooling. the only reason to watercool the mosfet on the quad is that is draws double the amperage and thus more heat
@vinister.
Yes I know the 24 pin is very large and yes the 8 pin is large as well, but I intend the sleeving as a design feature. In the final build I will scrupulously arrange the wires to be neat and equal lengths. It is possible I will run them under the reservoirs in the end, but I have not even considered that at this point. Consider the pics you have seen as previews ;).

hmmm, just checked it out for you and that distance is not 120mm, to be more precise the only way I could see that mount working is inside of the support rails, but then you have the radiator slightly overlapping the motherboard which might be an issue. I guess you could do it on the side away from the motherboard tray.
GTZ bracket painted
In the light:

UV white paint on it :D was very difficult to photograph it like it looks in real life
http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/679...frost80vd7.jpg
The paint on gtz look's but i think in real look's much better then on picture :]
Awsome build! :)
I was just wondering how you managed to remove the interior of the case? Separate it from the rest I mean? :)
Was it fastened with popnails (some sort of screws, don't know if its the proper word for this perticular situation) or what? :)
thanks, everything is attached by screws (exterior paneling) and some of it is attached by aluminum pop rivets.
heres a pic for you all of my rad shroud's fan grills:
http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/2...illllz2xn3.jpg
No water cooled hard drives!?!?!:D:D
Snipe that looks great! I had to drop by your project, but it just makes me feel sad cuz I don't have the time nor money for such builds! The cost of college, apartment, books, insurance, etc would amount to a really sick rig, though. ;)
Subbed!
Looks epic
Need moar pictures! :D
Very nice, I really want to see how your set-up will turn out .
Well guys the system is running filled and bled right now! (only took 45 minutes to fully bleed! ek 250 res's are amazing)
thanks for all the comments, it looks amazing finished.
Only thing left for me to do now is finish installing lighting, reinstalling the hard drive rack (had to remove to fill) and gettin the rig up on the photobackround for some glamour shots!
Looks amazing. Great job.
Any results?
Can ye run a vantage please?
Thanks
I really love the white look of the case. Black is getting a little plain for me now but the white deff stands out more. I wanna see more pics
Can't wait to see more pics. White is definitely the new Black!
White is the new black?
Ugh I feel sick now! Black is and will always be black! The best!
But it's such a nice rig Sniipe :D
Here's a nice little teaser for you all :) I'm doing some finalizing touches and then I will be doing a photoshoot of the system tomorrow for all to see
http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/1289/teasertw2.jpg
Quick performance update for those watching:
GPUs are OCCT & 3dmark stable @ 900mhz and 1.44v
CPU is running at 4.3 GHZ for the time being :D
can't wait for these "photoshoot" pics man! That teaser is an amazing shot, but I'm sure it doesn't do the entire rig justice. PICS!!!!!! SHOW THE PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
while I clean up the photo studio from its 2-month conversion into a computer workshop I ran some real world benchmarks and I think this one gives you an Idea what the reviews of things don't always show:
this what a real machine can do, overclocked and spittin frames left and right! (FarCry2 ;))
http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/4...enchieskh3.jpg
did you make that graph?
Ah cool
pictures? I realllllllly want to see how everything turned out. The suspense is killing me!
setting up the photo studio ATM pics for y'all tonight :)
Just re-plumbed my dad's dual xeon 45nm quad work rig, heres a pic :)
http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/9794/dadcomphs0.jpg
Holy crap :P that's one nice PC to work on.
For what purposes does your dad uses it ?
Its a photo editing machine, he edits 600-800mb files on a daily basis so he needs all the power and ram he can get. Cs4 runs amazingly smooth on the 4870
The white theme of the case and sleeving is AMAZING! Nice build!
Well I promised pictures, but I had other things to do today so I only have one tonight. Tomorrow is another day, but it will be 100% dedicated to shooting
http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/689...frost34ho7.jpg
Awesome.
No need to say anything more.

fantastic man
It's really nice, but what's with that pink fan? :p:
Good job, man. I really like how the white contrasts with the other innards just through the window. Can't wait to see some naked shots. :)
Looks great :D
 This makes me wanna buy the case and do the same color scheme you did. Looks amazing that way.
:slobber:
wow man! Great turnout! now enjoy the fruits of your labors! Is there any way to hide that upper UV cathode? that was the only thing to me that stuck out in that super-super clean case. Great work All around though! Cant wait to see more shots and Kudos to you man.
what about like some sort of cathode-shield, that extended down from the frame hiding the cathode from the window, but still allowing all the UV rays to shine throughout the case? Not trying to be stubborn about a little cathode, just thinkings is all. Maybe a piece of white-powdercoated aluminum that spanned the entire upper support, using the pre-existing holes as mounting points? idk if it's fine to you then don't listen to me. Your case is yours for a reason, so if you want the cathode there, fine by me, no harm done.
Not a bad idea leveling the bulb though, just watch out, as I have broken countless cathodes trying to separate the tube end from the tube...
that way it maintains a clean front look while keeping the cathode in the same spot, keeping the lighting more or less the same, maybe even better. I did a little bit of experimentation in my case with 1" strips of paper folded to a right angle, creating a 1/2 lampshade almost for the cathodes, and the lighting was brighter, not sure it was more UV intensive but it was focused more towards the inside of the case. Maybe some reflective material would do the trick idk. My head hurts from actually coming up with a build idea, been a while since the creative juices have flown freely.
can't wait to see that rig neked
Amazing!!! :D
True artwork! :D
We wana more pictures :P This setup look's great with 2 loop's.
Damn...now I want to send my UFO back to Ben and see if he can do the interior white but leave the exterior black.
Very nice.
really love the technic of your full rig photo sniipe....real artwork ....awesome
teach me sniipe, plisss teach me how do you take picture like that :am:
Purdy! Good work man! Really nice.
It shows you put a lot of effort/time into it and you should be really proud.
Hopefully I can put out something of that quality someday!
Question: Where did you get the plexi for the window? I want to do my own window and dont know where to get good plexi/acrylic
this plexi is ACryan black acrylic (smoke tint) they have great acryl panels all available @ performance-pcs :)
as for the photo technique, its all 30 years of experience my father has as a professional photographer, I'm still doing a ton of learning myself. The other part is the $35,000 worth of professional photo equipment and lighting used to create the shot.
well thank you for sharing that sniipe, better stick my money just for the LC's
still figure how to build a cheap and decent DIY photo studio for my worklog, especially with my lauzy cam and bad photo technic...:shakes:
but still, absolutely beautiful for your rig there, hoping that will be more awesome pics coming..
Wow Sniipe, that's pretty nice. Why do you tease us with only one picture???? Great backdrop and lighting, I can't wait to see more.
:slobber:
Show us some more :yepp:
I am working on sniperbob's lighting cover right now, I have it fabricated I just need to drill mounting holes which is more difficult than one would imagine  damn lian-li and its offset screw mounting system, my Pythagorean theorem is getting a workout :D
Sniperbob, you've done a fellow ma$$hole proud! thanks for the great Idea, here is the lighting cover in action
http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/2...viewnewpe4.jpg
Amazingly Awesome - hiding those cathodes improves an already beautiful system. But, you are a tease :) You know we want lots of pics of your creation.
ooo man now i really can't wait..... Gotta love awesome camera skills along with a truly awesome build. I'll be waiting here for some beauty shots.
Well I said they would be coming tonight...... and I was lying!!!! here are internal pics for all my WC buddies and well wishers  thanks for all the great support throughout this build, I couldn't have made it this great without you guys
P.S. (if you love my rig please rep it by reporting over at you-know-where)

nice job, and that sound card is awsome
Wow what a fantastic looking system. The UV effect in the pictures looks unreal. Great photography as well.
Nice volt mods on the X2
OH man! I love it Sniipe!
Looks absofreakenlutly brillaint!!
Awesome. What makes it is the milky effect of the coolant. It matches with the white very, very well.
he has primo chill blue and primo flex blue (green is the same but green) with UV cathodes
o m g... extreme!
so beautifull SNiiPE_DoGG
Yep, absolutely beautiful:clap:
Awesome build, very very clean!
As a finishing touch these end caps would match our fittings better on your vga fullcover block:
http://www.aquatuning.de/images/prod...400/5282_2.jpg
WOW GJ!
I really like all of those exotic colours that blend in perfectly with the white:up:
Now THOSE were the shots i was waiting for! Great work man! Clean fit and finish, not a real flaw to be found anywhere! Let's just say a report has been filed...
That looks amazing!
You must be proud.
Well done :)
Wow. If I needed a Superb picture I'd want you to take it for sure...that's astounding...it's Mythic
What camera did you use? And I would like to get a overhead view of everything in place.
It's a Cannon 1ds MkIII 21.1 mpixel  I used a 100mm Macro lens for the first two shots with a super low depth of field/ F-stop and the other shots were done with a straight cannon 35mm that is super sharp (as you can see )
you mean like an overhead of the whole photo studio?
And thanks everyone, Like I said it wouldn't have come out this well without your great support !!
Snipe, it looks amazing. I'm also very glad I went with white for the inside.
Cyber's powder coating job is to notch and the build looks 100% professional. One of my favorite builds so far.
Really 6 stars.
It truly is beautiful.
It takes some skill to get great shots like that. It's not just the camera and lens ... you must be using a very nice lighting setup as well. I think I need your Dad to come out and help me!
