As time goes buy car low does seem a rather extreme test. I'd like to know the reason for why it is still stuck around 400 or so while all the other tests have capitulated to modern hardware.

Don't think so, its just to run the memory at 900 1:2 , and don't forget the chipset is a bit busy with those 2 cards. ;)

Well actually we have seen just 500+FSBs with dual cores but no screenshots shows 500+FSBs with Quad... I think this is really indicative.

It's the EVGA 790i ULTRA SLI. Video cards are EVGA 8800GTS's
Got some 06 in earlier and beat the 780i 30.6K score pretty easy at 110mhz less cpu clocks and 1100/2750/1129 on the cards. Lots of score potential still here:
