I'd like to add my name to the list.
If the list has been updated recently, I think I'm the top E6400 / E6420. :)
11,149
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...1149-CPUZa.jpg
evoic, look at my e6400 score: http://ceemic.pri.ee/c2d/nmc11445.JPG ;)
There's a mistake on "score list": I have e6400, not e6600!
You're still not understanding properly.
You scored 11,445 using Nuclearus version 1.2.1, the new version is the one that is required to be added to the list.
Version 2.0.0
That's the version I used when I hit 11,149.
You may still score higher, but you have to score higher with the correct version to make it count. ;)
Not tweaked.. just for try @4.2ghz

Got to get my E6420@Ds4.

Ok, here is update from me, 12.7k is what I get max for now :) I just changed onother CPU to test with and went 4+ Ghz!
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...1&d=1182456725
And I cant understand, how can get E6600 @ only 3.463GHz and get 12,722???  Its 587 Mhz lower Mhz but scores more by 11 points? WTF? What I do wrong?
Here's some mind food.... try to play a game... say S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for about 30 minutes, exit, take the bench... write down the score... then reboot, wait until all your services has started... take the bench again... see a difference? 3DMark atleast works like that... always a better score on a fresh reboot.
Sounds like you have a bottleneck-problem to me, but may be many things. If your cpu don't pass orthos it simply means that it don't calculates correct, and that is all a cpu is ment to do.... calculate stuff... so, if the wrong calculations get bottled up all the time then .... you see? That may be the reason for you clocking down getting more juice, since your RAM and CPU works more at an optimum at the lower clock + the cpu calculates correctly every cycle instead of every 1000nd cycle :)
I'm not sure how you are supposed to tweak it any more than what I just explained, I'm not familiar with neither your board, cpu or ram.... maybe it's time to go intel on my ass? :)
I had an Opty 146 @ 2.4 - 2.6Ghz that I loved in an extremely solid system.
I sold it to go dual core and I stuck with my beloved AMD by purchasing an X2 4400+.
I noticed absolutely zero performance increase and I was pissed.
Pissed enough that I decided to join the dark side and bought and Intel system.
The difference is night and day.
It pained me to say that for the first few weeks, but these days it's a point of pride.
Intel made an amazing CPU line and people get WAY more than they pay for when they plunk down the greenbacks for a C2D processor. (IMHO)
.
.
this benchmark will complete fine (and higher) for me at much above whats actually even slightly stable.
i can get 3100mhz stable for orthos... but even wow bails in a few mins.
this will on a good day and with flowing wind complete at 3220mhz with the same voltage, even while im getting explorer errors and random program lockups...
No, it cant be correct! I have Xeon 3060 @ 3700 Mhz for 24/7, its with 1.4v under TAT 30min load, no errors, all is completly stable like Orthos 8+ hours, TAT full load and other software that I have tested! And all is fast, maybe my OS is slow, I have not reinstaled it quit long time... And even my CPU @ stable 3.7Ghz is much slower than E6600 @ 3.4GHz, cant understand why, basically they both are the same CPUs
kiełbasa squad results below.
seems that nuclearus is picky.
better results was done using ram@1200 while lower was done on 1000/4.
http://strony.aster.pl/pmpcfg/PC/nuclearus/1.jpg
http://strony.aster.pl/pmpcfg/PC/nuc...arus-27764.jpg
Hmm, i compared two version - one which i used for above, and current one. this bench sucks as results are pretty different ;(
http://strony.aster.pl/pmpcfg/PC/nuc..._2.0.0_rc1.jpg
Locki, I've tested now v2.0RC1 with 1/2/4/8 cpu system and I can tell you, that the less cores means more stable MultiThr bench result.
For 8-core sytem I have up to 2000 points delta- this is not good.
And ALU test result is allways better for the first time bench, MT is usualy not. FPU result stability is OK.
So imo bench is still need impromens for result stability (MultiThread part of it)
A few result from me too:
singlecore
old ES CedarMill 631@6510MHz/1,712V/LN2 -181,7- -180,0*C during bench (no cold bug :yepp: ) Forget remove maxmem=600, so maybe it is a reason for slow result:
http://www.oc.pri.ee/631/631-Nuclearus@6510MHz-6922.png
and 8-cores result- Intel V8 system, all default. (8cores@3GHz)

I'm beginning to think this thread is only updated once per month. :(
8200 Even at 2.66Ghz with E6300 380 FSB x 7 4-4-4-9 1:1 (Mem dividers dont work yet)
I'm a noob but thought I would have a go just for fun.
I have done a lot of research over the last few weeks to try to figure out how to OC. About the video card.. I use the machine for work and don't really need video card performance. The oc'ing and raid is purely for Photoshop (and the like) speed to make my workflow quicker. I have to admit though that OC'ing is quicly becoming a hobby!
Anyway, I decided I didn't want to rank behind a C2D so I did a re run.
Here tis...;)
Death intel e6600 @2.4 real speed [3734] = 11753
Soldner is currently Banned, this is why no update.
i dunno any more that that. i assume he will be back soon :)
lol soldner ftw is he ever not banned
Thought i'd give it a go:D not bad for standard air cooler:eek:

maybe soldner can add a Laptop ranking?
and/or a "last generations" ranking eg, X2/FX/C2D/P4D in 1 grp, P4,A64 (Clawhammers),AXP in another, T-Birds/Early P4/P3 in another and K6's P2's pocket calculators and the abbacus in the last group
*edit*

Tried clockgen, and seemingly works, but it only reads from Nvidia C51 and when I clock it up nothing happens... systool won't work, I install it, but it crashes when I try to run it. I didn't bother any more when both those failed, will probably try something else, just don't know what yet... and older? It's only a year old, it's not like one of those pentium mobile "let's fry an egg on it"-cpu's
core 2 duo e6420 2.9 not serious oc to ram

Some more SC weaksauce...
Pretty much the limits of my air cooled setup.

He is banned, he might not update with your results.
Updated for the new system build(sorry for the quality, accidentally saved as 16 color bitmap):
I'm back
Thread update in roughly 1 hour :)
Should be good for top 20 of dual cores... nothing spec though for e66
volts are insane.. was just testing what it could take... thought id nuclear aswell... its from a while back.

6520 w/ Celeron 440 I believe that's SC record for now. I'll get a better score in a bit, need to tweak mem & voltages.
Got a little better:

I recently did a clock per clock test between San Diego 3700+ and Conroe E6600, and I included this benchmark in my test. I have to say, it really uses multi-cores, which i find extremely pleasing. Below you can find my results from that test:
San Diego 3700+ @ 2750Mhz
2Gb Kingmax DDR400 @ 200 2,5-3-3-7 2T
Asus A8N-Sli
score: 4733
Conroe E6600 @ 2754Mhz
2Gb Mushkin XP6400 @ 460Mhz 5-5-5-15 2T
Dfi Infinity P-965 S
score: 8746
Here is my result with quad.
QX6800 G0 @ 4.7GHz
Attachment 62957
E4300 @ 3.3GHz | 4x1GB @ 457MHZ 4-4-4-12

I can actually hit 3.6 stable now but its way to hot till I add my triple 120mm rad..are they updating this anymore?
here is my official score at 3.2 use this one the other one had tons of stuff running

lol
You guys all posting on this thread is hilarious!
I got 10308 with all sorts of crap running in the bacground & bioshock currently downloading.
Will post a screenie of a proper run later.
Hey crapface I cant keep it stable because the the things is hotter than your wife in my bed. so i had to keep it turned down till i get my new radiator..lol they don't update the damn score anyway been here for 3 days...
**off topic**
Is craps missus hot?
lmfao!
:slapass: :kissbutt:
@ Jiu jitsu:banana::banana::banana:, the only thing you've seen the back of is my hand after I pimp slapped you for even looking at my wife....lol
@ Dublin_Gunner yes she is, that is why Mark is fantasizing again.....
like I said Ive never seen her ..lol
here's the score for the settings I run every day
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1435/...24e20b64_b.jpg
there was absolutely no reason to put scores up on here. Im never listening to Flawlez again
You know, just because someone else is teasing you... don't know you have to snap on to the lure, 3.6 GHz is much, so instead of being so goddamn mad you could overnight it with orthos instead so we all could see that what you say is right. In accordance to a cpu-z validator of course ;)
You've put out scores, but no proof, so for all I know you've got none ...
okay guys, been snowed under with work recently.......but I'll defo update this thread this weekend (sat). There are some pretty awesome scores here....thanx for submitting guys and sorry again for the delay in updating.
MOFO
Easy Mark..just because the thread starter hasn't updated doesn't mean it isn't a legitimate benchmark. Honestly, I was just trying to help you feel better about your quad setup because frankly, there isn't jack $h|t for games that tell me that a multicore system is a "must have" at this point. ;) I'm still enjoying maxing games out with my lowly single core.
first! I know craptacular personally.. so I was joking with him... ;) and giving him a hard time ....second! I know flawlez personally as well I guess its just hard to detect sarcasm online...
I put out scores at 3.2 and posted pics I doubt I need more proof for that.... as mentioned when I rebuild my h2o cooling I will post at 3.6 with cpu-z.. for now i cant do it. my cooling sucks.
ps no offense to mofo64 I was just agrevating flawlez about it not updating take your time.....
Hey it cool buddy, I'm just takin' it easy with the first night off work I've had in ages. I'll get this thread updated first thing in the morning :)
I actually do a blinding job usually with all my threads (I have 3 Nuclearus threads alone....nevermind the 3D MARK 06 threads over at OCUK to look after)....but alas the rent has needed paying lately and god knows these new Phenoms most likely won't be cheap so we gotta get the hours in you know? :)
Cheers for submitting and all.....much appreciated ;)
