i have a question for programmers on how to raise the htt limit in ntune. the reason i ask is because i want to get barcelona cpu but if my mb wont OC them in the bios then i need a software tool and ntune is the only one that works for me. the problem is at stock ntune will only let you go to 250 htt, but if you OC, that will be the max htt selectable and then you can only down clock from there

What board are you using to get Quad SLI with 8800GTs, and I though bridgeless SLI was only for back in the day with the lower end 6000-7000 series
thats strange, I wonder if you can bridge the first two and last two then use the bus to connect the two pairs of cards for better quad sli

I'm not quite sure the board will run Quad SLI. However, dual-dual SLI should work fine.

chiller working excellent finished wrapping the lines and i get good frost in about a 1/2 hour but the evap still forms ice with antifreeze and slx denatured alcohol so i know i can get better temps if i find something that can hold the temps down
im also getting bad checksum error on bootup so i have to see whats giving me problems with that i checked the insulation and its bone dry and i hope its not the bios cause its soldered:brick: :brick:

Ok, I'm in the process of getting the /b rev of the board and a couple of b3 barcas. It will take a copule of months though as I can't spend that much money in a month. (My wife would kill me!! :D )

BTW will you get a WS or a WS/B board back from rma? Read about one guy getting a WS/B back for his FX's. You think you could use WS bios on WS/B board and vice versa? I've heard somone say that the WS/B board supports split plane for Opterons, but I can't get it confirmed.
its a platinum board and if they send a ws/b its ok if it has a socket bios then i can swap bios on the fly

For AMD clocking? you would do better with a water chiller. memory drive increases as the memory controller chill and you overdrive the ram, you end up having to massively lower HTT to compensate.

did a quick run with antifreeze got to -20 but it turned solid so i went to homedepot and got some acetone gonna remount and fire up again
i need a volt mod and a new psu and something to monitor temps i can get to 3980 but but as soon as i load it black out or it coldbugs cause i go crazy with the dice i need around 1.7-1.8 and a good way to watch temps and ill have it.
now im going to try my fx70s, if i had 17x with my 8224s it would be so much easier:yepp:

i just got some 10k pots the only ones radioshack has, lets see what happens @ 1.7v
ok i cant do nothing without temp monitors cause im either to cold or too hot and i just cant play it by ear so i just put all the dice in a tub full of hot water and watched my son go crazy :)

.....I hate Temp problems but once fixed its SuperClock time ,Ya Know it.
Do you have A DVOM with a DTS lead on it? ..Place lead under a pot or side of IHS? Or is the Bios wiggin out with the Temp reading? Even a DVOM Copper temp lead should work good..Any decent lead should be with in 1c or less freezing/boiling points..Just check the temps with Icewater and Boiling Water.. it should work decent..

MT586A Bluepoint/Snapon DVOM with RPM lead and a DTS to copperLead/a 4ft lead with copper sheathing..Works real nice..When placed in my loop or stuffed in a Rad.. Its simple and efective..
I mainly use it to tune BIKES/Drag cars Exaust Gastemps to Rpm Idle/WOT signature ..It has to read Insane Cold to Hot temps on many ocasions:D.
