I moved from a GINORMOUS Stacker 810 to the Define R3 a few months ago. I'm using less fans, it's quieter, and soooo much easier to transport to lans. :D
FWIW, it definitely helped airflow. I also cut out the rear and bottom psu fan grills while I had it apart.
Needs more sleeved cables, but then she'll be more or less complete to my liking (sorry bout the bad webcam quality) -

2 companies now make sleeved extensions for the cheats like myself. NZXT and Bitfenix. Look them up, buy, extend, and enjoy :-)
