Guys, JC has an FX...and a prommy...
44.73!! @ 2833MHz
Some Belgian grazyness for ya :D :D I'm sure he will post the screen later..
Nice! :slobber:
Result up :)
Nice score JC, I see you beat that guy with top AMD score 3Ghz XP by 3 seconds ;)
:toast:
Any details on FSB, memory, whether you had 600 rather than 800 hyperlink ?
I see you will be going faster soon :)
Can you beat Intel ?
Regards
Andy
i dont think i can get maccis LN2 score... thats a bit of another league anyway... if i could VDDR mod the SK8N maybe i could do something though ! but unfortunately i cant. I reckon the HL is 600 because its on the NF3 ? FSB was 218 , memory 218 at 2,70V, 2-5-3-2. difficult to find better registered DDR than that i think but of course I did disable ECC.
Yikes!! Nice job :toast:Quote:
There wouldn't be anyway you could share that BIOS would there? I might be able to help with the volt mods :)
no can do m8 but to be honest i think the latest ASUS BIOS - or the beta ones - do offer multi control and voltage its just not visible until you plug the unlocked FX into it... with an operon in it all these options dissapeared from the BIOS
Wonder if there are bridges under those heatplates ?
Go on take it off :stick: :D
J/Kidding :p:
Too be honest an increase in FSB and slightly tighter timings
(board allowing) i'm sure top is possible there is a 1.95 sec gap
at least 1sec could be knocked off with FSB alone I suspect
more with the A64 as my initial impression is it scales quicker
to increases compared to currect XP range.

nice one.. using new 64 or your "old" barton?
either way its very impressive.! gratz.
nice one.. man these new ones really gives high performance for low mhz´
That would explain why the voltage options disapear on me with all the betas, it has a 246 in it. Did you try it with a Opteron in? And did you by chance try the 200Mhz for the RAM with an Opteron? My don't work, I'm starting to think it might not be the BIOS but the Opterons memory controller can't take 200Mhz.Quote:

i just need more memory speed...
Nice :slobber:
Do you think its the mem that limiting the OC. Will the CPU pass 3000/3100 if better cooled?
Thinking on my Prommy cascade :D
44.78 at 2833
43.33 at 2925
It will pass Macci at about 2980 !!
That will bring the Pifast back on track, its better witout LN2
The CPU wont load at 3G even if I raise multi and drop mem speed to 100 MHz... but if i could run lower multi and 140 FSB oh boy :)
although I am sure i could run and bench 3G with 1.85V
Updated .. & request carried out ;)
cheers ! just a tiny detail you know no big deal but still looks more familiar like this :toast: :)Quote:

Have you seen this:
http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=131&s=1&61408
Well i have a max of 3013 MHz with a prom so I find 3020 MHz super pi with dry ice kinda low
Yeah, JC's rig is even more :slobber:
