that is weird shi(f)t, never seen that happen on 1204, 1303 or 1485, have you tested with other known good components?

I had the same issue. Move your keyboard to the bottom usb port. The usb is getting flaky on this board. :shrug: I had to remove my bios battery to get the top 4 usb ports working again.

I saw that happening while benching sub-zero, some USB ports would spot working out of the blue :rofl:

PS2 keyboard FTW !! I loose both USB2.0 ports (near the PS2 connector) if I push the timings of my rams to 6-9-6 (above 1233Mhz) CL7-9-7 they continue to work... tighten up the USB ports are inop

thanks for the tip, have been using a PS/2 keyboard so far. Will try USB in the bottom port :up:

same issue. after benching yesterday above usb ports stop working. just cleared CMOS and now they are up again :rofl:

I get this when my SATA cable is not plugged in flush :) hope its something simple like that

yep no boot drive detected... it goes into bios all the time...

Hello everyone.

I just installed a i7-2600k Q12X ES D0, and by measuring the CPU temperature is showing 1C-5C. Does anyone know how to fix this bug?

The program is showing both Real Temp or Core Temp.

Yes, of course. But all ES appears like this? With this kind of bug? How will I know the actual temp of the processor in this way, without retail version?

Ur cpu-z and realtemp are kinda old. Pls google for the latest versions.

I just got this board as well. I'm Linx Stable at 4.9ghz at 1.4v. 5ghz will run, but fail 3 tests into a 20 test loop. I have very little configured. I'll have to do a run through and see what I can change.

I love this board, it's excellent. :up:

One question (for now), should I move from 1303 to 1485? Will that possibly net me that extra 100 mhz I need for 5ghz stable?

Actually 1407/1409 would be the newest bios, I believe Shamino posted them at KPC.

Any noticeable improvement over 1303?

I have noticed no mouse lag/blinking in the UFI bios.

My only real issue is the double boot start up. Has that been fixed?

just disable the marvell and jmicron controllers in the bios and it boots much quicker, as for the new bios I have not had a chance to flash yet, but 1485 gave me no problems whatsoever

I cannot find the Program under the Maximus IV, only under rampage extreme III. I tried that and it won't work. I've been able to install RC Bluetooth on my EVO 4g, but even when I try to install the bluetooth driver, it will tell me to turn on the bluetooth and that always fails. I also updated the bluetooth driver and I had the same issue.

You can DL from the support site, or from the main site, or manually select download on M4E page, then choose Android as OS, and you'll get applications for Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile.

Here's the trouble. I have RC Bluetooth on my Evo. If I install the bluetooth driver and application in Win 7, it never initializes. It'll say something along the lines of "bluetooth not found, or something along those lines...

Now I am even having issues installing the driver. I get this message:

I click OK and the driver sits and sits. Then the message appears again.

Any ideas?

I'd love a walkthrough? All the explanations I see leave out a lot of info. I basically want someone to hold my hand as I just cannot figure what is wrong, lol. I guess that's the point of a walkthrough, right? :D

The phone will see the PC and can pair, but does not connect. :shrug:

A quick question: I recently rode my SB, I'm trying to stabilize at 4.5GHz, but when he begins to stress the processor (LinX, after 2mins), the multiplier drops from 45x (100 x 45x) to 37x (3.8GHz), anyone know why? What option have to disable in the BIOS? I want to make the amount I put in the BIOS, do not want this to happen. Thankful who reply!
