You made a good choice--this motherboard/CPU pairing has been great to me so far. That sounds like an awesome gig that your brother has. I am tangling with similar issues on a much smaller scale--another project of mine is trying to make an RC car go as fast as possible (I strapped my phone, with its GPS, into the car so that I can have a good speedometer). Bought the NH-D14 and gave it a trim to fit in my build :) Very happy now. Maybe I'll change the fans, not too sure yet

As wrong as it sounds it happened. I hold my hands up, 5 of the bottom fins got a little shave so that it would fit on my classified. I figured it be less heart breaking to botch up a heatsink than to kill my chipset heatsink in case i needed to rma the board sometime in the future.
