Plug your 1tb hard drive with the backup into an esata port on backplane of your motherboard. Should pickup just fine and boot into recovery with your win7 cd/usb
Might want to set the controller your cdroms are on to ide see if that makes a difference with them on startup.
Well I plug the 1tb hdd with hot swap enable and if I plug it while I'm on windows it freeze al the system.
If I let it plugged and reset, then I can't get further than te log on with the Asus rog.
And another issue is that if I leave as first boot device the optical drive and as second the hdd with the os. The system stays freeze trying to boot with the optical no matter if it doesn't have anything inside. Seems like the bios can't get to the another boot device if the first one didn't boot. That's weird.
And if I left a cd in the optical drive, the system check of it is booteable and if it isn't it goes within 5sec to the another boot device.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
anyone having issues with AI Suite II, in particular the monitoring? every once in a while i see inaccurate warning alerts pop up in the lower right corner right above the notification area. problem is the warnings aren't true at all. right now it thinks my NF200 voltage is 0.00v. i've seen similar alerts like CPU PLL voltage at 0.00v, one of the case fans at 0 RPM when it clearly was on, and other similar alerts.
if it is only zero volts warning, I saw QPI volts at 1.9, CPU volts at 2.0 volts sometimes... I just deinstalled it... not worth running anyway plus it eats resources...
ROG connect or Turbo V solo install... no idea though why I should adjust Bclock if not benching... and if I bench it's ROG connect or the ROG panel...
Couple of memory questions.
1. Anyone able to get the 2400 memory option working? I've tried with my GTX3's and it fails to boot, they work fine at 2133 though.
2. GTX2's work very well, but my Dom GT's 2000MHz 7-8-7's hang at either S8 or 58 post code. I would really like to run the C7's for SPI32M.
Got my new CPU.... :D
I love it. Together with the MIVE it just rockz ;)

I would like to ask...
There is any kind of issue with the Marvell Controller on this board or something like that?
I have a b3 revision and in order to make work all my hdd, even the one from 1tb that I previous said that didn't work. In order to make all of them to work, I had to disable the marvell controller, why is that?
Thanks!
Here are my bios settings:

woow.. great mem clock :D
which bios would u test now ??
Been having issues with this board recently, most of the time when I restart it will just enter BIOS every single time. Even without a keyboard plugged in so that it would be physically impossible for me to hit delete. Also, no errors like cpu fan that would cause it as far as I can tell. Anyone seen anything like this? Happens with both 1204 and 1485
I'm running in to some issues myself... Been running 5Ghz with 1.376v for a long long time, yesterday everything was fine but today I got 45 post error with both bios...
