What needs to be modified is outlined in post #499 but requires a little knowledge of EFI. Once Stoned is happy and the instructions are easily understood I'll look at the PRO for you if nobody else has.

A quick question here - why wont those 1305 BIOS`s show up in the asustek support site ?
It feels somewhat safer for me to download the file from their servers , especially after my little corrupted BIOS experience with my deluxe mobo .
Some benchmarks of WD Caviar Blue 1TB WD10EALX on Intel 6Gbps and Marvell 9120.
Marvell clearly has problems with write.

So 1204 still best bios for p8p67 pro?
This: The device, \Device\Ide\iaStor0, did not respond within the timeout period. There are several of these.
Got this a couple times too: The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur.
:shrug:I'm testing a click or two more ram voltage right now.
Does anyone remember how to fix the "non detection of PCI X-Fi soundcards"?
I think I've tried everything I can recall, and read on the internet.
I have this in my device manager
http://bildr.no/thumb/831419.jpeg
and when I try to install the X-Fi drivers, I get this error message:
http://bildr.no/thumb/831422.jpeg
God damn enoying
As far as I know, when installing xfi drivers you always need to start with the supplied disc and then update frome there, else you will get that error message.
Strange thing, Realtek audio is disabled in bios. My X-Fi card is in the PCI 1 slot, and is lit - but doesn't get detected by windows and device manager.
I remember I had problem with the first time I installed the new SB system, but got it to work somehow. But can't recall :(
Try the other pci slot and if it installs there, then try moving it back and see what happens.
So what are you saying? You are using the driver disc that came with your audio card or a driver that was downloaded from creative?
I had this problem (exact error message) before and the issue was using an updated driver without having ever installed the initial driver from the disc. Once I used the driver on the disc and then updated it, there wasnt any issues.
Now, there is an obvious entry in your device manager for an audio card. Therefore windows does recognize it, it just doesnt have a driver installed for it.
If my above suggestion does not work, then sorry I couldnt be of help.
Maybe someone, a member here perhaps, or even creative themseleves can get you and updated disc? I mean this problem is so common, you would think that they would have a fix for it and not force people to use old drivers from the disc.
EDIT: Anyway, there is a ton of posts on google about this issue. Search "creative x-fi fatal1ty setup is unable to detect a supported product on system"

Is anyone having a problem with wireless keyboard/mouse? I tried a Microsoft wireless (2.4Ghz) desktop and had frequent 2-10 second freezes where nothing was received by the computer. The wired keyboard/mouse with the same driver have no problem. P8P67 Deluxe. The problem also occurred with an older Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse.
