Yay!
of course, once it arrives I'll be compelled to finish the build haha
Alright email has been sent to the seller. Hope he gets back to me real soon!
sooo i need to buy:
cpu(s)
ram
heatsink(s)
power adapter cables
urr i'm pretty far behind lol
awesome! i'm happy to hear about the 20 board limit being reached - not for the price drop, just because it means we have that many more PPD to expect for the team :)
Has the seller said so, my friend? I am just asking as the seller seems to be .. I wont say it ( just that he is not what I expected)
Most likely we will be making a private gdoc ( just for the ones that bought the board) with instructions :D
Wasn't BIOS escape?
Hello again my fellow crunchers,
I have available to purchase 51 sets (possibly more in the near future) of 2x1GB ECC DDR2-667 for £12 per set (~18USD), down from a list price of £22 ($32)!
If anybody is interested, the appropriate amount could be sent to the US/Germany and forwarded on with the motherboards.
What are your thought on this?
Is that registered ECC ram ?
I think the board discussed here only accepts reg ECC ram.
It is.
Too bad that's not 800mhz capable ram, or I'd take a few sets for my own Quad socket AMD (the SM H8QME-2)...
What kind of ppd does a setup like this output and how much power does it use?
Order placed!
Yippee! What's the likely time scale on arrival in Tampa, FL? :)
I'd say by Friday or Saturday
thats definitely good news*thumbsup*
Much sooner than I thought, too!
OK. I'm starting to get the 'build it' itch :D
Me too! I had a ridiculous idea to water cool one of these, but I haven't got the funds for CPU blocks atm. I wonder how far you'd be able to clock one of these. I doubt the BIOS has many, if any, options for overclocking. It'd probably require significant modification of the BIOS and possibly additional motherboard cooling to get anything significant.
