looks nice! glad you posted that again because i saw the thread w/ just his stock scores but none of the oc's... can someone ask him about temps? i registered but cant post yet.

Anyone noticed crazy HT and NB speeds??!!
2678MHz HTT / 2678MHZ NB / 4017MHz Core :D
I like them very much!
BTW it looks like I will be coming back to water cooling pretty soon :yepp:
the temp sensor seem faulty to me
when it was on Coolermaster v8 air cooler
stock vcore(1.35v), overdrive reading 22c?
bios reading 42v
so i poked a thermal probe to IHS and i got 32c:shrug:
1.56v under water
in bios reading 44c
27xx is capable:D
I have the Apogee H2O 220 kit all stock with rad and 2 fans. keeps my Phenom 9950 nice and cool, but add in a Vid card and the NB..I don't think mine would cut it. You might need to step it up a notch.
here is 3ghz stock v's and 3.3ghz 1.44v

Scared of what the nb volts are and nb and mosfet temps assuming their not water cooled of course.
Heard of some horror stories of them blowing out at high volts etc. Wish they had a nice msi style tons 0' heatpipe cooling solution for nb/mosfet/southbridge like on the msi p45. Even overclocked that performed well at keeping temps good.
Hmm, clearly that can't be retail then if it was made in June '08 can it? But aren't ES samples blank with no writing? Seems a bit strange, but what do I know!
yah i see 938 pins, but why doesn't it say "Phenom II" on the IHS?
Yeah, maybe it is true. Jonspd said this on Ocforums:

just bought a PII 945 BE es
xmas came early to bad waiting on bank transfer and it's coming from out of the US..
yea thats what i am guessing. it is most likely an old chip probably an earlier revision unlike the C3 revision which the 945 will launch as. it seems kinda legit but still this is kinda odd that this chip would come out of no where and they are expected for a long time.
Alot of AMD's newer ES's seem to use some weird kind of production code. By looking at the PN I can see it's a 1-way desktop CPU, which sounds very reasonable since it has pins. It's also a 3GHZ piece, which is promising - and what we'd expect. The only thing that looks a bit unusual to me is the last 3 numbers, but that's a different story...
To sum it up: that CPU IS an AM3 Phenom II!
Yep,it appears so :)
EDIT:
Oh man,i've just seen this  :

coolice posted his 5.5Ghz score, canard validation link :

This is just 9% shy of those 6Ghz scores we saw at the demo.Considering this is one of the first OCing attempts it's very impressive!
Here is my 5.6 :D http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=466799
Hah you beat coolice by 100Mhz,nice job :D.
I am a little disappointed. :(
Check the CPU score (and overall) in 3DM06.
I just checked my stored benches at the ORB, and did a quick run with my Q9450@3.6 (Abit iX38 QGT) paired with HD3850x2.
Link here
I had hoped a Phenom II @ 4Ghz + HD4870 easily should beat that. :(
Here's a great source for comparison

Those Expreview leaked AMD slides are for real after all. ;)
??? not one of those links gives a comparison.. They are all Intel??
A great source with DDR2-800 vs DDR3-1333. Ehh.
