What kind of temps are you getting on your GTO at those speeds (it would also help me if you told me what your ambient temps were...it's hot in texas :()Quote:

on stock cooling it ran 3Dmark 01 just fine at 580/580. GPU will do 600 core but it locks up as its running at 75C.
Sadly my system took a dump after i restarted (restarted to install 3dmark 05) and havnt been able to test any further since..
If I can get it running tonight I will post some 3dmark 05 scores and do some watercoolings runs and show u guys how far it can really go. Just a guess but i would say this board will do 620/620 unmodded. Prolly not much more out of the memory as it is 2NS.
oh ya forgot to mention that its at 12 pipes right now. When i get the computer working again i will flash to 16 pipes.
Glad I actually helped someone :P. And yeah, it's a pain. I can't get 7k no matter what I do. My stupid value ram is holding me back real hard. I wish I still had my OCZ VX. Good news is, by the end of December, I'll have TCCD and my card will be vmodded with a zalman gpu cooler, and I'll POSSIBLY have some phase on my opty 146, so 7k will be a breeze, even if my opty has to be on air :).Quote:

Just curious, what are you guys using to test for artifacts? ATI Tool or are you just looking for the obvious in 3dmark/games/etc.? My ram seems to start artifacting around 550...maybe I got a dud?
I use all of the above to test for artifacts (ATITool first). 550 isn't the best ever, but certainly not bad for 2.0 ns memory. Are you using any enhanced cooling? That might help a little.
What are you guys getting for cores on the Connect3D GTO's?
I have yet to see a Connect3d that is not r423Quote:

Well. Look at it this way.Quote:

590/605, Let's say.
However, your card might crash at 68c overclocked.
See my point?
Due to heat/stability issues, the cooling will restrict your overclock
pixxx :) (ViperJohn cooling, new Sanyo Denki Xeon fan)
29c idle :D

results tonight ;)

me wants!! :slobber:
Avez-vous l'idée comment loin il ira ? :D
What a beast! And look at all those trimpots for voltage adjustments. Very impressive.
Found my max this morning on my C3D. 594/573 which gave me 6983 in 3dMark05.
Any more on the core and it reboots/crashes, any more on the mem and the same.
Getting some aftermarket cooling soon, nothing as great as the Viper mods, just an ATI Silencer.
I can't use a V-1 as my cpu cooler is a Big Typhoon and would block off the fan even if I put the card in the second PCI-E slot.
Hopefully I can crack 600 on the core.. :D
currently reinstalling windows for fresh drivers...i'll let you know tonight
a friend bought a connect3d GTO, no luck with bios unlockning, he will try the real modd later
follow the guide :slapass:Quote:

which ATI silencer fits the sapphire x800gto2?
the zalman and the thermalright fits but just want to have a wider range of options to choose from
the x800gto2 is a x850 so the ATI Silencer 5 rev2 is what you needQuote:
