price drops is good.. how about improved yields with better performance? A possibility or will the next 3-4 batches all perform the same?
yep online...got friend in south carolina-usa who purchases me stuff online...doubt he has any fry's store in 15-20 miles radius around :(
steve why your location is tallin ?
gimme her email please :D
Yeilds may get better, but I have no data on that kinda stuff. My location is Tallinn because that is where I live :)

222,10,12,16 @ 3.4V
booster in 1 or 2, mem in 3&4 (still need to test B=4 M=1&2)
would love to try higher V but mobo (MBM too) wont read >3.5...(ill be trying 3.6 on booster soon)
but remember this is a mobo that wont get BH-5 over 225 @ any V or timings
PS this wont be a very productive night but ill see what i can do...just wanted to put out the "first trys..."
Joe , Do you have another board ?
well I guess if you could only get 225 with BH-5 its not bad
Also please try 2.5-2-2 @ 3-2-2
Wow alot has happened while ive been asleep... Good to see more benchies coming through..
Acidbaby, waiting on your new overclock without .5 multi
As for me VX, its cleared customs at LAX and should be departing shortly.. ETA Monday ... Sunday(US)

If you're on water and can stick silly volts through the chip, cant see why you shouldnt be able to do well.
I bet it passes memtest doesnt it?

Can someone clarify trans am's question about bios vdimm setting when using booster...
ie. default 2.6v or auto?
either one will work
cool thanks.. I have always set the vdimm to the highest supported by the mobo then increased the booster... so wasnt it working correctly then?Quote:

Noticed that Acid baby is using 2 sticks of 512 at once in that DFI board ..
I am having mixed results with the VX so far. I can't boot into windows at anything over 240x10 2-2-2-7 1T. tried volts from 2.9-3.5 my cpu is very capable of 2.6 and I can run my el4200 plat dual channel at 2.5-3-3-7 1t 280*9 3vdimm. However, I can use clockgen and agp/pci is locked. I can increase up to 260*10 and my best superpi was 32s 1m run. But when I tried to take screenie, I opened paint and system froze. Now I need ocz help. what is the best options right now? i've tried tras of 6, 7, and 10. Does tras 10 stress more than 6? I thought it did. see my sig for my testbed. Even trans am gets stuck sometimes. lol
I would try 2-2-2-10 , then 2.5-2-2-10 some people had luck lowering the Cas to 2.5 or 3
also I would work them up slowly , Thats the same thing I have seen twice now , went up to 240 to begin with and then after a while they could go up further.
I would stick with 3.3 volts for the time being and play around there
sounds good. Oh, I forgot to mention I was memtesting memtest86 ver.3.3 test 5 and had ram set to 250 and 260 2-2-2 3.3v and passed 1st loop, immediatley after beginning loop 2 the program freezes and had to hold reset button. This is odd since I would expect to see errors instead of just freeze during tests. ANyway, I'll try setting to cas 2.5 and trying agin.
burn in for Gold VX helps http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...554#post618554Quote:

Uh oh :(
Slightly depressing... maybe something else is causing the issue. Did you try 2.5-2-2-10?
When using the booster we usually just set the DDR Voltage to default and tweak from there. I does not affect performance if for some reason you would like to set the DDRv to 2.8 or whatever.Quote:
