Nice stuff eva. You know, first time with TriSLI or Tri CFX is like another first time - the first thing you remember is "damn, this is too tight" :P

Nice tests Eva. Here catalyst 9.10 is better for 3 cards & Vantage.

Did somebody already got his hands on the new VRM coolers from Thermalright the VRM-R3 and VRM-R4? I realy want to know how far the temps will drop. :) http://images.hardware.info/news/The..._VRM-R3_R4.jpg

A new BIOS version (035264) for 5870 with some bug fixes is up here.
But sadly, the unlocked version is corrupted (incorrectly unlocked I assume).
Is anyone willing to provide a correctly unlocked one please (this 035264 version, or a later one)? I'd greatly appreciate it.
Or teach me how to unlock it properly, and I will (not via RBE, obviously).
Thanks!
You can unlock it via MSI Afterburner, modifying a hidden feature.
The BIOS is nice, it also fixes some eyefinity glitches.
Just wish the unlocked version worked... I flashed the normal one, getting some reports about the unlocked version being broken, and RaBit says that CRC failes for that one, so I am waiting for someone to unlock it properly so I can OC with it as well.
Apparently unlocking is easy, just need some special ATI tool.
Check this thread.

We used ATI official tool that provide to AIB to modifiy the BIOS setting and BIOS is digitally signed by ATI, sorry the tool can't be released publicly. And yes, we will apply it to MSI 5850 (also 2nd shippment of 5870, and future 5700 series).
I don't wanna register there just to ask them to unlock this BIOS, I'm sure there are more people here who have it and are willing to unlock the BIOS for us.

Okay, so right now i am using afterburner 1.41 and i can clock it to about 1050 and 1200, and slide the voltage all the way across to max, now is it actually using that much voltage, or is it still stuck at the default voltage?
It wouldn't be stable at the default voltage, so pretty sure it uses that much.
If i can get that high, then what would be the benefit of flashing to another bios, say msi or asus? Is there any? i have the xfx black edition .
benefit would be having powerplay active and clocks & voltage lowering during 2d & idle.
i'm sucking my thumb atm..this...errr i mean your clocks are as insane as what i think hell looks like..i'm capping off to 1000/1300 atm with 1.225v more than that even with a tad of voltage i can't push through..
