well... macci is winning, at slightly lower card clocks.
is it just at the point where it cant get much better, and its just down to "lucky runs", or what?

the race is getting exciting on the 2003 side too! the p4ee has a ever so slight advantage in 2003 ;) but OPP's fx owns in 2001
thats what i was getting at, but i didnt want to say it outright, because i dont know all the other factors in the tests. ;)Quote:

Exactly what SE model is that Macci?
you do realize its hard to read when you do all caps, and bold it, and word it so it isnt even a real sentence...
thats assuming he can get his cpu to 4.56GHz which he had it for his near 31k run and I recall him saying he got a different mobo which has lower voltages so he lost 100MHz on the cpu :(

with their eyes closed will they do that, now when they open their eyes........ ;)
Looks like Macci may have retired the EE for this round.

I'm going to a A64 3000 chip myself:D
OPP
Well i know you're the Opp around here (;)), but i remember some time ago, probably around september 23., when Macci had his "Sorrounded by evil AMD-rigs"-signature on his best '01 score... Then he said that it was his "last" Intel run, and we (Intel fanboys :)) all thought that another chap had fell under the shadow of AMD64.. BUT! He was back with Intel in no time ;)
A64 3000+!? Why that? Half cache, single channel ram and lower clock than your FX!
I'll race ya with my 2.6C :DQuote:

EE runs are pretty much over now. No more benching for me this year. I'm tired :D
Was doing those Mark03 runs 4AM :D
Just posted the Last Mark03 run of the year - 9730 at 657/456
see ORBie for details
no more benching this year? haha this years over in 2 days then bench some more ;)

he probably wants to break 30k on an a64. Macci was 9 marks shy of that. however OPP would be better getting the xp3200 cause it has double the cache. and Macci, update that sig ;)
Wow! Congrats macci !Quote:

657 ? Can it get any sicker ?
XP3200 would not have a chance at 30k....Quote:

yea my mistake. both have the 3200+ rating but the a64 3200+ obviously is superior. hes better than the a64 3000 cause with 512kb cache thatll cost him like 500+ marks

The mobile A64 1mb 3000+ is really yammie, if unlocked.
It is like all A64's but only for the lower multipliers. You won't be able to move it from 9 to 10.Quote:

So, no multis over 9 ? A pin trick discovered would be nice. Also softwise...Quote:

no... it has the 10 multi. how else would it get 2ghz?
1mb 3000+ is 1.8, 9x200.
oh, the mobile 3000+, i thought you ment the desktop one.
where can i see the specs on this mobile one. i havnt heard of it before now.
thats A64 overall, not just the mobile version.
i ment like how newegg displays the detials about the processors, like this.
Looks like AMD doesn't have any white papers on the mobile A64 yet, i might be wrong.
