Dang, why does ClubIT say "Pre-Order" then if it's shipping?!?! If I could order a E6600 for $360 right now, I'd do it in a heartbeat!
Where the heck are all of the E6600's!?!?!?! (And no, I'm not paying $430 for one @ MWave)

Seriously you can't beat having one in your hands RIGHT NOW. Who cares about $20-50 for 1-3 weeks time.
It's NOT about the money it's principle.Quote:

The E6700 is $250 more you guys think it's worth it?
Thanks to my recent Conroe purchase I don't have to worry about money any more.Quote:

i fell ya charlie i mean 64 for $300 cause of tax is kinda high
$268 on clubit after tax seems alot better to me
sohpblt has it for $253 plus like $8 shipping
but seeing $219 for it doesnt seem to close, maybe a few months which is way too long to wait
and yea doc you have to draw the line to save $30 i think i can wait a week

Interesting but not something we didn't suspect/know beforehand!
this 7th august date is coming very often...
but even here in Fr we have an online shop with X6800 in stock (but that's one shop)
a computer shop on a famous website here claims that he will have all conroe in stock tomorrow... wait and see
This might make some feel better:

Your going to be waiting. I'm seeing e6400 at $224ea in lots of 1000. Most places want to make money ;)Quote:

As I have a pre-paid Conroe E6600 BOX and there is nothing new about the delivery date I have an option to get an E6600 Tray version...but price is the same  Should I wait for the BOX or just go for the Tray...the Tray version will be available in stock this afternoon....Is there a 1 year waranty for the Tray version?...couse this is the only think that make me think about to wait for the BOX....:stick:
Regards,
Primoz
it depends on how patient you are i guess...
there is a 1year waranty on tray, but i can say from my experience that weither it works on the first time or it never fails until replaced so 1year or 3 years....
it's not like it was a sum of multiple parts, processors are almost one element.
Where from? I've still not ordered a replacement BIOS chip so I don't mind waiting.Quote:

I'm REAL close to paying MWave $425 to ship me an E6600 out today...
Argh...
Yeah my friend and I went ahead and bit the bullet, figuring that initial e6600 prices at ZZF and newegg may be up near $369-$379, and if we overnight shipped that would add about $20, so paying $435 for 2nd day shipping at mwave wasn't the end of the world, we've both been working all summer to get to this point and just want to build lol.Quote:
