Maybe some burnin over the night will help.
No, not really, but I rate the Manchesters as better clockers. Well, 2006 ones in particular.Quote:

I have an X2 3800+ CCBWE 0528MPMW now.
Cpu -z says it's a MAnchester core , but it's showing revision JH-E6
CBid tells me I have a Toledo core
Do i have a Toledo core with 2x512Kb cache disabled?
yesQuote:

I see that x2 3800s are the AMD of choice for discerning Rosetta crunchers heh -

update mine. 2.95@ 1.55v LDBHE 0606EPMW ihs off
I originally tried for 2500MHz with 1.30 volts... it was prime stable for about an hour but the temps got a bit too high for my liking 53 deg C so I backed it down to 2400MHz with 1.25 volts and all seems good :toast: HSF used was the Thermaltake K8 Silent.Quote:

Of interest: one of my colleagues at work has bought a bare-bones system with a Gigabyte mobo inc on-board nVidia 6150 and a LDBFE 0610 x2 3800. He's using it for video editing and format conversion.
This is his first AMD machine, he was a solid Intel man before, and he's loving it - without even overclocking. He says biggest difference, apart from the sweet performance, is the on-die memory controller; he reckons that his P4s are weird because process memory usage grows until eventually the machine needed a reboot, whereas the AMD is economic in this respect. That sounds like a mobo thing? He also reckons that s939 mobos come bundled with many more features than those for Intel CPUs; I was arguing that Intel's Core Duos were looking better all the time for the price, but he was arguing that you pay more for the complete system due to the lack of bundled goodies.
It was an interesting and unexpected discussion.
Just got an CDBAE 0609 RPMW. Anyone have some results to share?
i've got CCB1E 0609 FPMWs (165s, though) and they're pretty spankin' chips...i'd assume that a similar production week/ramp would yield pretty good results.

Hi all!
reciently, I got a two news X2 3800+:
- CCBWE 0601XPMW
- LDBFE 0610UPMW
Wich of two processors is most better as his Stepping?
I think that the LDBFE 0610UPMw is most good than CCBWE, what do you think?
Thanks so much
ldbfe is a manchester and ccbwe a toledo...i would choose the manchester (better overclocler imo)Quote:

No cold bug at as low as -29'C. Core1 is much weaker than Core0 (almost 200MHz delta). Still tweaking.
Yeah the LDBFE 0610UPMW is a good one, but also a rough one,Quote:

Its a good chip, hope you can get better with yours, mine was a T chip.
I'm pretty tempted to pull my opty170 back out and put this one back in.
I had a LDBFE 0610UPMW , didn't have much luck with that one. sold it a few days later. Like Drinkcarlos says , mine was a very rough and difficult cpu.Quote:

My 3800+X2 0607 Tpmw passed with flying colors 2800@1.39v cooled wit TTBT.
Now she is on water and there is no more OC.
2800 seems to be the limit.Temps are not the matter.
What can I do? Are there any special settings? Tref or so?
I got mine under phase now. Can boot with 285x10 and 140 divider. Got crappy memory that can´t go over 206 Mhz. Cpu is (almost)stable in Windows @300x10 with 133 divider if i use clockgen. Why is it that I can´t boot with 133 divider over 230 htt? It was not possible on water either.
We got the same PSU.
Perhaps that's it.
I'll try the new 900Watt Tagan soon.
Driver: Anything yet?
I bought a 700watt Tagan Dual Power and removed the Ihs.
She didn't clock higher.
I'm waiting for a new Waterblock now.
