^correct.
^correct.
Thought so, cause you need to do a vtt mod when you do the vdimm mod.
so for boards like ic7, i would need an extra pcb besides the booster? or is everything included?
you buy the one with vtT pcb, or without, at least i think thats how its going to work.
so wat if i have a mobo that doesnt need the vtt pcb in the future? Would I need to buy another PCB?
Inside the package is included ONLY the DDR PCB......The DDR PCB+VTT and the DDR2 PCB are EXTRA parts for upgrade the Maxi.......We did so because we wanted to keep the final price as low as posible.......Our first thoughts were to include ALL three of them DDR PCB's but the price was a bit higher so we desided not to incude all of them into the package.....The DDR PCB+VTT and the DDR2 PCB will cost a few (perhaps about 7 - 12 $ - we'll see about their final price in a few days) and you can buy them from the resellers too......
U P D A T E......
After some reading - as a matter of fact a lot - DDR Maximizer is COMPATIBLE and it will work with the upcoming "DDR3" Ram technology..... ;)
Don't forget Cyprus anyway, not so far from yaQuote:

both he means. reseller is someone who re-sells them. I for instance am one for belgium, england, france ,netherlands and luxemburg+ germany maybe.
Retailer is a shop. but all people who resell are appreciated I think. because every thing we sell will benefit hipro so he'll just be able to keep producing subliminal hardware like this :)
damn! :toast:Quote:

does that mean more delays?
Yes........about.......let's see.......1 minute.......perhaps less....... :DQuote:

After a first view/read of the NEW upcoming RAMBUS XDR DRAM technology, it seems that the DDR Maximizer will be compatible too........I'll get back with more details of it....... ;)
Hipro, could you maybe put the ETA of the unit at the beginning of the thread so that people knew how long they still should remain drooling over this masterpiece :slobber: :D
Having a maximizer on my rig for benching/beta testing i have some more good news
There seems to be a problem with some (maybe) cpu/mems combo that cannot boot into Windows at 3.8++ voltages (using the DFI Vdimm supply)
This is no problem with the maximizer as i can boot at 3.7V and change the Vdimm inside Windows. pretty handy for hardcore clocking/benching
I just love to see smartguardian changing the Vdimm indication on the fly :D
