just force the 3/8 tube on.
Ahhh! Why must there be so many models?!?
For the Iwaki AC pumps, the 20 series, which is the best, but is cheapest?
Thanks,
Yan
The Japanese ones are slightly better, but more expensive.
Take your pick.
MaxXxracer: What about the MCP600 rev. 1.0?
lol i fit 5/8 OD masterkleer on 5/8 Iwaki, so anything is possible if you boil the end of the tubeQuote:

Anybody got any info on how good the Alphacool Ap1510 is? It from 12-24v and the head is 18ft. They say the heat dump is 17w or that is consumes that much atleast. This is probably given at 12v so anyone know what the heat dump would be at 24v? anyone have one of these? Just wondering cause I saw it for $100 which seems like a pretty good price for 18ft of head.
i'm going to replace my actual block ( an italian wb , OClabs mb-06, wich is a lot less restrictive compared to storm g4, d-tek mp 05 ) with a d-tek mp-05 SP LE , and obviously i have to change my pump , since i'm using a small aquarium pump...i think an mcp655 ( D5 ) should be ok, but i've found that http://www.dtekcustoms.com/index.asp...ROD&ProdID=172 pump on d-tek store, it is similar to the d5(mcp 655), but is that the same identical pump ?
D5 is the same as MCP 655.
yes but i'm not sure if the pump listed at d-tek shop as "dtc-d5" is a d5(=mcp655) or not....i think it is a d5/mcp655 ( same design, partly some name )...but i want to be sure ;)
I would like to know too.. it seems interesting.Quote:

How does the ddc1 plus with plexi res top compare performance wise to the ddc1 with plexi top as found here:
http://www.coolercases.co.uk/wc_pumps.htm
Replacing a t-line would make for a cleaner looking system and provide greater peace of mind, but if it negatively affects performance then I wouldn't pay the extra for it.
In addition, can someone please list all the different ddc versions and tops avaliable with a guide as to what to go for and/or avoid. Whats the difference between the ddc-1, plus and ultra? And what mods should be done?
That DDC-Plus *is* a DDC-Ultra.
Hi,
I want to ask you: what do you thing about Laing D4? I have dull selection because we have here ( Czech republic ) only Laings D4 and DDC + Eheims. i dont know if DDC will b enough, but the D4 is so loud, I heard...
d4 performs about the same as d5 just with alot more noise. anyway would a ddc+ with modded top beat both...
If its the new D4 Basic (what alphacool sells), its basically what we know as the D5.
Is there like a conspiracy to coverup information about the Alphacool AP1510 pump? I can find very little information about it, Can anyone comment on the Alphacool AP1510 pump? I am told its noisy, noisy as compared to what pump and at what voltage specifically? how does it perform compared to a D5 which most have referred me to instead of this pump. Is there something so wrong and terrible with this pump? I am trying to pick my pump and on paper this one looks like a winner. If anyone has the pump can they comment on the any of the above.Quote:

In any case, a top-inleted DDC-Ultra will spank it.
Yes, that's it - Laing D4 basicQuote:

Not really, the DDC-Ultra is a far superior pump.
how is DDC-ultra superior? ok its much smaler and quieter than d4 but does it perform better.Quote:
