There it is, congrats pie eaters!
Middle of the pie is much too crowded
I need to get another card up and running.
I'm thinking a pure gpugrid machine.
I already have ram, WinXP, old HDD, and a 295
so it shouldn't hurt too much to get an i3-530, H55 mATX, and psu
... anyone have extras they are looking to get rid of

Congrats to all the pie eaters!
Sorry I missed the pie yesterday, lost internet AGAIN. (5th day in a row of little to no internet)
AT&T got the opportunity to hear my lovely opinion of their service for over an hour though...
Oh, and corporate should be getting a letter tomorrow.
I put the 295 with the 285 in the same rig so they can have a nice little threesome :bananal::banana:
I went this direction instead of a new board so I can save up for 2 of the 6 core CPUs coming this fall and that oh so nice Corsair 1200 coming out next month. :)
I will own lemon pi~
Beware!
Once you have tasted PIE", the force is strong.

And the lemon pie it is SC!
Just by the hair of my chinny chin chin :ROTF:
It was luck ... pie eaters 4-6 were only seperated by 2k
Tonight should be a little better :yepp:
SC, i know it might be hard to answer this, but do you see any hinder in production when having two different cards on the same system as opposed to separating the cards into different rigs?
yup, the corsair Corsair AX1200 is sexy as hell. 94% peak efficient is freakin ridiculous. wish i can afford it though.

And there it is!
Currently I have underclocked both cards (my study is already mighty hot) so I have nothing to compare the numbers to. In theory there might be a slight decrease because while they get priority over a cpu WU they are no higher or lower on the priority scale than each other so they might, on occasion, have to wait for each other. I just told BOINC to go from 4 cores to 3 and my cpu utilization is up around 88% instead of 75%.

Well SC, it's workin for ya.
i got two gts250 comming, and two idle gtx260 almost ready to put back on the grid. trying to take SC's lemon pie :p:
lol because it's easier and more cost effective to just populate all the available pci-e slots with crunching GPU's than it is to buy a crunching CPU along with mobo, memory, HD, and PSU. and getting some crunchers that i lend out proved to be harder than i thought...
my 3 gt 240 did about exactly the the ppd that i thought they would do which is around 16k each. Now i just need to find a way to get my gtx 470 grid at full power with win 7.
The best you can do for a fermi card is to set the SWAN_SYNC environ variable to 0 and then tell BOINC Manager to use 1 less thread than you really have. Still not as good as XP or Linux but much better than just straight up Win7.
its already done and my gtx 470 is watercooled, so i will be able to get better shader clock hopefully and more ppd.
