yes ofcourse
Thanks for confirming guys:up:
i'm using dice on 240mhz bclk :D
230 for water....
i'm guessing...220bclk for most d0 stepping...bclk is cpu bound...my cpu is kinda good :)
everything was stock...only vcore and vtt was adjusted..first green is my setting..1.5 and +.3v
all others were set stock....bootup with defaults..take note what the system shows..like pll voltages..and use that...
for ram..i use xmp profiles
i use multiplier x16 for uncore
somethings up with my classified 760.
im getting really odd numbers
i dont quite know how this happened

my classified completly shutdown after every windows reboot and after a bios visit (without change settings)
i think it is my PSU. an old Enermax Revolution...
Anyone here with this shutdown problem?
Webwilli search EVGA forum for PSU compatibility and Classified mobo and where in that chart is your PSU. You will get the answer then.
yes i know the PSU comp-list... ;)
my old revo seems not compatible. i know this too.
but will the shutdown problem be fixed with a new revision?
i RMAed my revo and got a newer version.
just tell enermax
"known incompatibility with evga classified x58"
and they will give you an RMA pretty quickly.
takes about 10 days to get your new psu.
i send a mail to enermax germany before i buy the classified.
they told me that the PSU incompatibility only exist in USA and no germany costumer have this problem.... i donīt belive this.
if i have this problem, i should flash the newest bios or send my PSU to enermax germany. they will check it.
@fitseries3
the newer version works fine and without shutdown after every boot?
new version has had no problems at all so far.
check your serial number....
if its older than 95XXXXXX then you can get it RMAed for the new version.
my serial is 8C...
one of the first revolution.
yep. same as my first one. got it the week they came out.
you should be able to get them to rma it easily.
ok. thanks ;)
have you test your old enermax with the classified? before RMA.
yep. board wouldnt post at all.
I had shutdown problems for a few weeks and now everything's okay. Not really sure why but I'm not going to complain...
Its not normal... Could be a PSU issue...
I have a quick question...
I have been playing around with the northbridge frequency and am having trouble breaking through the 4,000mhz barrier that I am encountering.
Would anyone have any advice on how I can push through it? (specifically voltages) I want to increase the efficiency on some scores I just submitted to hwbot.
Here is what I have in BIOS,

Currently Running E760S61A Bios, W3520, Watercooled, 6GB Redline Ascent XP3-12800.
I have been using the EVGA program to raise CPU Host to 231 (indicating 229 in CPUZ)
Here are a couple of pics from the runs...

Is your NB water cooled...
And why would that matter? Uncore is on the CPU
@[200]: For higher uncore (what CPU-Z reports as "NB speed") you need to raise Vdimm. Also, cold on the CPU helps with high uncore, most chips will top out between 4200 and 4400 on water but can do more on SS/Casacade/DICE/LN2
Just a question for my own jcool... I've had major heat issues with my NB going over 4.2ghz...
from what others are reporting on the evga thread about this issue i would say its the psu.
RMA it and see if it solves the problem.
