What's the difference between old TR3X6G1866C7GTF and new CMG6GX3M3A1866C7? Are the CMGs worse clockers? Specs and all is same.

are you guys with poorer CMG with 2000 cas8 or cas7 models ? if cas8 probably they're tightly binned so cas7 left to the cas7 models ?
I'm buying CMG 1866C7s. Hope they will clock. :) 1866Mhz just for that, that there are no better in Finland. And I prefer to order from my home country.
I had only tried TRX1866C7(very good kit:D) and CMG1866C7.
Some guys here have tried CMG2000C8 and they suck:p:...poor clockers!
A friend of mine tested a CMG1866C7 kit some days ago....it was not good:mad:.....maybe a bad kit!
Does CMG 1866C7 go 2000Mhz @ Cas 7? Or 2100 on Cas 8? Those are average TR- clocks.
2000Mhz CL7 it's easy IMO:D:)
My first kit of 1866C7(TRX) could do 1020+ 7-7-6-20-60 wih 1.72V...if I remember well:p:
The CMG kt that I got back from rma couldn't do that:p::mad:
I hope so. Already ordered them.
My babies - Corsair DominatorGT 3x2Gb 2000 cas7-8-7-20 - died on me last night. TR3X6G2000C7GTF G lot 009051724. Never been run any higher than 2000 MHz (7-8-7-20) and 1,65 VDIMM. What do I do now? Long way to California… Bought in the Corsair Store
I have been turning my PC upside down since June this year as I tended to get corruption on my disks. After my second Intel X25-M SSD 160 GB G2 corrupted again last night it was time for MemTest, and here I am… Feel like a donkeys arse with all the problems that I’ve had and its only due to bad RAM…
No difference. We had to change our part numbering scheme for channel purposes. The CMX parts are the newer parts after the Elpida Hyper disaster.
It's the newer Elpida Hypers.
Sorry about the question flood, but really, are they better overclockers? Or more important, are they more durable than "old" Elpida Hypers?
after 3 boards
4 procs
more than 100 hours of stress test
still going strong...

Great, buddy.^^
7-8-7-21 also was my most stable timing combination. Too bad you cannot max out performance, but it's not that big of a loss anyway. :)
For benching one can tighten timings much more. That's^^ a pleasant 24/7 setting. :D
 amazing ram
