10-15 years.
Do you code? In how many programming languages you could write "Hello World"?
vb.net vb6 vb5 vb4 vb3 vb2 vb quickbasic purebasic and realbasic and any other language you can come up with which has the name basic in it, ow and hello world is so simple I could do that in c#, java, c++ ( I did play around with borland years back ) ect. But hello world isn't a real example of being able to code
Now, coding that trojan, that took some skillz as the code base was very 'unfamiliar' and it's not something which was out in the wild according to avery av company I send it to :poke:
How long before we see the 6ghz Amd phenom confirmed with NO coldbug  ??
You should give it to Bobsama. :p:
Should I buy a Thermalright HR03 GT?
When I first built my main rig almost 3 years ago: AU$2000. It was:
E6300
2 Gb Corsair Value Select 667 Mhz RAM
Asus nForce 570i
XFX 7900GT
2x 160 Gb HDDs (RAID0)
Since then it's just been a constant stream of upgrades, although I'm forcing myself to not buy anything (except maybe a cheap Q6600 rig) until I pick up a Core i7 rig.
Should I buy a cheap AU$600-ish Q6600 rig before or after I buy a Nehalem setup? Considering that the Nehalem rig will be a completely new system, taking pretty much just the water cooling from my current rig, and will probably end up costing me around the AU$2000-2500 mark? Or should I instead buy 1-2 Sossaman rigs?
Eller
i7 for sure.
Do you still have a home phone or just a cell?
I have a home phone, but it's only for my mom. I myself would have ditched it already, especially when I'm paying for it.
Can you imagine how hungry I am?
Sure. I'm a writer, I have a great imagination.
Who wants to see pics of all the kids when they get here?
I do
Should I keep my fingers crossed and hope customs will not bill me ( in which case I heard it can take a month for them to clear it out of their warehouse ), or go ahead and call them, pay an import tax which will still net me a huge advantage over having them bought here, and have my bday gifts I bought here asap?
Pay to play.
Will there be a i7 Skulltrail?
Eventually.
I paid €25 for an ATI Radeon X1900XT with an Accelero S1. Deal or no deal? :D
Deal.
Will LHC destroy the earth? ;)
No.
Or, quoting the mages of Unseen University of Discworld, it already did, but in the next instant it brought it back and noone noticed anything. ("Going Postal")
To be or not to be?
Depends on what might or might not be.
Is not Terry Pratchett one of the most awesome writers in the history of man kind? I'd probably say I prefer him over Douglas Adams (and I really like Adams :p:).
Eller
I'm more of a Tolkien guy.
Anyone tried NFS:Undercover? If you haven't, don't.
Ruh?
Anyone read Herman Hesse (Siddhartha, Steppenwolf, Magister Ludi)?
Not me.
Anyone read Fritz Leiber? (especially Fafhrd and The Gray Mouser Saga)
huh read what is that I read a little in the Sport Illustrated and some pc mags but my brain is shot after a day at work.
what is the longest you have gone without sleep and without with out using anything to help keep you awake?
I think it was 2.5 days but I was also taking focalin (like ritalin). The real reason was sky high blood sugar. That was more effective at keeping me awake than any stimulant.
Have you ever invented something that you knew you could get a patent on?
Yes, I invented a machine (can be mounted on a space station) that would use a black hole to produce energy (until the black hole runs out of mass). Unfortunately, that was at the Polish Radio Science Picnic, I was like 14 years old then and I agreed to pass all patent rights onto Lucent Technologies. They gave me a teddy bear and a backpack with Lucent logo.
How many people you work with every day?
Core team of about 15.
(Wish I had the last question, I hold a few patents now...)
Who's your favorite waterblock company?
Dunno, Swiftech? I don't use water cooling.
What would you like to eat?
Well, I had tofu in garlic sauce from a local ethnic restaurant but I think I od'ed on it. They're the only place around here that knows how to make it. Everybody else fries the tofu and use some god awful sauce. I'm sure this is the same amalgam of food starch, MSG and flavoring as everywhere else, but it's tasty.
Anyway, I could really go for a Burger King cheeseburger. Would take White Castle or McD as a second choice. Anyone volunteering? :D ;)
Oops - forgot the question.
OK - who makes the best burger? Now this is a 2 part question. Who makes the bestest burger evar regardless of location and which national (or at least regional) chain, makes the best burger?
