Actually not looking for max FSB, but max MHz for 2D/3D tests ;)
Next run will be EVGA 9800GX2SC + 5.6 GHz 3D
Hope some 5.8 GHz 2D actions too.

but validation failed, i 'll have to try it again:confused::( http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=484955
You do not need that high PLL for your Bootup ;)
sure

guys have a weird problem , Mutlis 9-8.5-7.5-6.5 work fine with EIST enabled
But if i set multis 6-7-8 it doesnt and its stuck at multi 6 . Anyone any idea?
Disable EIST?
not an option.
You have to keep it enabled or you cant disable it becuase the option isnt available?
i want to keep it enabled , why torture and waste energy when the cpu is idle? BTW my 2 year old P5B dlx has no problem ocing with EIST enabled (dammit)
Try C1E instead of EIST, or just disable for benching.
Quick question - are there any differnt revisions available (plus version) and which one is the best for OC?
Normally you should get the newest with NB Rev A3. These should perform slightly better when using very high FSBs
I see "dfi jr p45" under tags so im asking here :D
I am having extreme difficult time getting any RAM OC stable on my JR.
My E8400 does 4500MHz Small FFTs stable, and i have testet my board to 500FSB again Small FFTs stable.
But my RAM fail no matter what, the are fine when BIOS is 100%std. and they seem fine at 400FSB 5:6 = 480MHz which is the ONLY stable OC-setting i can run them at and that is pretty f-ing wired!
When running them 480 the ONLY thing in BIOS changed is FSB, no voltage no timings nothing.
I have tryed everything, volts (NB,SB,VTT,GTL,VCore,VDimm) and timings (not sure here, there are a lot of subs in the BIOS i dont know, what i dont know = auto ;)).
What the fudge could be wrong?!
the board can be very picky on RAM, I mean sometimes veeery, so :
set 400/800 divider
skew models at 3-3-1
all clock fine delays to "more relaxed"
T2 dispatch DISABLED and ENHANCE TRANSMITTING & ADDRESSING to "normal"
it may help memory clock higher but it blows some performance
(dont know exact names in BIOS since I am 100 miles away from he board, but I tryed DICE & SuperPI and clocking some memory can be hell with the board, but you get incredible efficiency)
Ok ill try that, one notice i have tryed woth OCZ PC8500 (D9MGH), Ballistix (D9MGH) and Dominator 6400 (ProMOS), and none of them are any good.
But here is something wired again, befor i tryed any of that i drop alle GTL values to a minimum with VTT 1.1 and got this:
http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/3...0p95hm4.th.jpg
It is prime stable, but when ever i shut down my system or reboot, when it starts up (coldboot and reboot) it allways tells me "Overclock failed" and i have to set the FSB again, eventhoug it has primed for over 5 hours (3 in the screenshot).
Help... Yesterday my mobo stuck with 96 error code. What happen with that? In my monitor, screen stuck with "Backup CMOS..." and in mobo led stuck in 96 code.
My rig:
* DFI Dk P45 T2RS Plus
* E8500 e0
* Corsair HX 620w
* Gskill 4GB kit GBPK
* Sapphire 4870 1GB
* 2 WDC 750GB Sata2
* 1 WDC 1TB Sata2
Before 96 error code, my system is running well since the 1st day I bought that mobo.
We have some new tests:

Holy Sh** I would not use prime or other stress tools at this voltages ;) poor CPU...only for a short time when using LN2 and you reach the CB
I think it may be something else. Try less VDIMM voltage. That may also cause you to use a lower clock, in effect reducing the timing. I am getting the impression that 4 sticks, and possibly some high volt, high current 2 stick combos may be pushing the memory VRD.
On another note, a question: what is the max north bridge voltage that is "safe" 24/7?
The problem is that the divider 1:1 is the lowest, so if i want 4GHz RAM has to run 450MHz, and i have tryed down to 1.9V 5-5-5-15 with loose sub's :( It realy sucks!
Did i mention that my Ballistix do 600MHz 5-5-5-15 2.1V on my Commando, so it has to be mobo related.
Very nice clocks on this board, would like to see a everest run at that speed.
