a small contribution to that, is my QX6700, only @ stock, but was running @ 3.4.
And my laptop has been running, but its only a centrino 1.6Ghz.

WTF?
Whatever. Nice!

Its due to all HCC jobs being validated at once I believe.

It looks good!
Was lloking at some of our individual totals for the day, including my own.
There were some big jumps. Don't quite see the cause of that. Unless it was credit for HCC units, catching up. But hey, i'll take it.
It would be nice if we could keep that level up!
You had a massive jump... ! :)
I had a little bit of a jump. Wasn't sure if I had been running HCC units or not.
I had a machine down for an OS change for a good chunk of the evening last night. Finished it up this morning. Had to toss the units it was working on as I went from 32 to 64 bit.
DDT had a nice "slow" day...810,000+
Shintai: 447,000+ I think and Carl was up around 375K..
You guys kicked ass and took no prisioners!
Goliath never say the rock coming.
Bob, Huey, Rob Smura and myself put up 930K together. I think for each of us the day's output was an individual high.
A one day 710,957 cut in EasyNews lead!
Today's numbers don't mean anything. All the HCC work units were validated at once. Tomorrow, everyone's numbers are probably going to be down because there won't be as many WU's pending.
I did 65k today, which is my high. Not sure what happened, but its about double my normal output.
The sad thing is that all the HCC work units that have been crunched are probably worthless to researchers because of the bug in the science calculation. But everyone who crunched them is getting credit anyway for their effort.
Hmm, I'm not sure, but does this mean the HCC stuff runs much better on the high end stuff the users here are throwing at it? Looking at the much larger disparity in scores that we pulled over easynews. I'm guessing most of easynews's membership is made up of run of the mill middle to low end consumer level pc's, and most people here are running overclocked CPU's/bus's that are setup for high throughput/low latency/high bandwidth processing with 2GB+ of ram. It'd almost be interesting to tell my fast machine to prioritize HCC work and see if the scores follow.
edit:
nevermind, my scheme would just be defeating the purpose of the crunching for merely the fleeting glory of slightly more points.
Its likely due to our use of 64bit OS. We claim higher and were granted what we claimed with the quorum of 1.

Agreed, I think this was a one day deal and thats it.
Now if when they come back with the HCC project they stick with the quorum of one it's a whole new ball game.
Xs machines will start to show to the rest of these people what fast machines really means.
I keep coming back to that figure that DDT tossed out.
We do 8.45% of the daily work....of 233,000 machines.
And we do it with what? Somewhere between 1300-1500 machines max?
If my math is right we're doing that 8.45% with 1/2 of 1% of all the machines in the project.
I thought WCG server had some kind of error or something when I first looked at my points. :D And I was like "oh oh .. Bob's back .. better pedal a little faster" :D
One of my quad did over 26k today  (x64bit)
