Vista Home Premium x64, 'World Community Grid BOINC Client 5.10.45' ().
Yeah, 920. I hate the i7 name. It reminds me of S Club 7. I'd rather just use the code name. :p:

920 at 3780 (180x21), uncore at 180x16, 6 GB of RAM, Vista x64, BOINC 6.2.18
With all kind of things running in the background, but I don't think that matters much.Code:2009-01-02 00:50:28|| Number of CPUs: 8

Actually, yeah it does make a difference. Shutting down unused background processes raised the bench on this Opty 185 by 50 points, and it didn't start with that many daemons running.
Thanks for the benches.
edit: Oh and errrm ... which Vista x64?
Like that made any difference D_A ;)
Same rig, same settings, Vista Business x64, switched BOINC version to 6.4.5, an behold, 60 points less int and 1000 points less float
Gotta strip my Windows to the bare minimum and check if this result is consistently repeatable.Code:2009-01-06 01:12:08|| 3382 floating point MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU

I tried it the other day on my X2 with a 8600GTS and it only does the CPU benchmark (6.2.19) but I can try tonight with 6.4.5 if you want?
If you don't mind. I'm just curious if it does a GPU benchmark as well.

A few things in the background, Coretemp, RealTemp, Pidgin, Daemon Tools, foobar2000, and Opera. The other 24/7 stuff.

I'll keep an eye on my stats for this rig at my grid page to see actual production differences.
funny how x64 affects one bench more than the other..
