Maybe try removing the -advmethods flag (from both the command line if it is there and the config), see if that does anything.

Maybe try removing the -advmethods flag (from both the command line if it is there and the config), see if that does anything.
shut down the client, put the command line in the run command box with -configonly at the end, keep all your other settings just tell it no for -advmethods.
Are you running it as a service? Check the command line in the service box and see if -advmethods is listed. If it is, go to regedit, search for it, and edit the key you find and remove it before starting the service back up. See what happens with the next work unit it downloads.
Maybe, totally depends on the WUs they send you. My average PPD varies by a few hundred just because of the vast WU differences.
Welcome to the team Kingcarcas :welcome:
Hopefully you like us so much you'd stay here this time :D
Hehe, the first forum i visited died down and i only crunched 1 WU for them, but yes they did start to get on my nerves and is part of the reason i left :p: shhhhhh............
Hey Raptor & Kingcarcas :D
I have lost a soldier! Kinda anyway.... :(
I gave my little sister my 3800x2 rig for her wedding present and I know she can't keep it on 24/7 so I think I'll just install the reg client on it before I send it off.;)
Good bye trusty friend.:oscar:
Yeah pump it with 2 regular clients, that should be fine. Still crunching, that's what matters.
That's a sweet case, regular clients FTW so you don't have to worry about SMP screwing up or missing deadlines. Mine pumps out about 5-600ppd (2.6ghz) (I've now switched both of the rigs we have to team XS)
My laptop finished a wu after about 4 days. It wasn't on 24/7. When it finished something happened and I don't know if it didn't send it or it just locked up.
Anyone look at the stats for today? What's up with that?
Are you talking about this page?

They had raised some funds to upgrade their server so maybe they're transfering everything over?
You can still use this site to check stuff out in the mean time...

Haha, speaking of which, I just looked in my rearview mirror and saw RoadRunner driving a huge mack truck right on my tail. Kind of reminds me of this...

Actually when I looked there earlier, it just showed everyone with about 5x the amount of points for today as usual.
The guy that runs the EOC stats server said that Stanford had some wacko things happening with the server recently, too.
With our renewed energy, the team will cross the 50 MM point mark by the end of this month. :yepp:
Renewed energy yes
I got my DFI board back... but I may be selling my quad and board :( My engine in my car spun a rod bearing :( I'm going to be needing money for a new engine for my car now, that costs money, and, well....
Note to self - NEVER buy a previously-abused car :brick:
Mind riding around in a $500 civic?:p:
OK. I'm back up!
Edit: What kind of car sparky? And what engine?
1998 Camaro with the 3.8L V6. Good strong engines, 200K+ miles capable... unless they get abused like mine did. Mine only got to 110K, of which only 6K was from me :( Planning on having the transmission checked before dropping a new engine in, if the tranny is no good then no point in putting a new engine in.
Considering selling my phenom, board, and watercooling stuff to pay for it. Go back to air cooling and a single core 3500+ and a gig of memory. Fun? No, but between selling that stuff and money I have already I would have over half the cost of the new motor, meaning less money to borrow.
Kingcarcas, I don't fit in a civic. My legs are too long and I smack the steering column in those small cars. And frankly, I wouldn't trust a $500 civic (or any $500 car for that matter). Maybe a quick run around town but on some weekends I drive home which is 70 miles one way on the highway.
