Hey again, guys.
I applied silicone to the coil thing a few days ago, and apparently it hasn't helped; I can still hear the squeal/buzz. Should I try to coat the other coil thing closer to the CPU? The sound is getting slightly annoying when I have to work in the same roo m and not have music on. :)

I'm leaning that way as well. Plus the QuadGT has a 1067 strap option that helps ALOT according to AnandTech. But the buggy BIOS will stop me for now. Both of these boards need new BIOS before I consider either. No more waiting on a new BIOS before i can be stable like with my S3.:nono:Quote:

Seems to be SuperPI 535FSB 1:1, mobo limited or CPU, but I think it's mobo because I had to use 2.025V MCH to reach 535FSBQuote:

If it does better with same cooling on another board yes but i do think every unmodded 965 board wil do 550/60 at least if cpu can handle it. I bet it wil do higher if cpu is colder on this board.
Any Guru - Expert could share some info - tweak about DDR2 Reference Voltages???

V_NB @ max, unfortunately I think that NB had just hmm... degraded after that, not stable @ 400 FSB 1,25V @ NB, my 24/7; before it was Orthos stable 13h+ on these settings :(. The temperature was OK, about 10 degrees lower on 2,025V @ NB than without addidtional cooling (Winter Cooling + some fans) in my 24/7 conditions.

Tried almost every possible combination regarding voltages, mem can do 610 mhz, cpu 580 fsb but max for me is 453 for 4/5. With unmodded P5B that is. Commando is doin good.Quote:
