Nice shot Kain. Weevil, I'm curious, what technique are you using to capture the bees? I'm imagining focusing on the flower they're residing on and shooting as they fly away. I can't imagine my AF keeping up with this task, so I'm wondering how you get the results.

I have a mini tripod set up on the ground focused on an area, AF does not work for this. If you want the wings "stopped" I've found that you need at least a 1/4000s shutter, and a bright day to make sure you can get enough light in at that speed. I would say I get about 1 focused shot out of every 10 taken. Patience is a virtue. ; )Quote:
