is that loop ok with that pump?
BTW it`s very nice and yet dust-free...
Alphacool just came out with a pump that is better than the MCP 655 and scales with overvolting nicely. Martinm210 did some testing and I was amazed.
Hell if I can remember the name. It's a $100 pump with an external powersupply (wall wort)...I'll try and find a link.
is it this one by any chance? http://www.aqua-pcs.co.uk/aquastream-16-p.asp
My old 6800 Ultra @ Aquagrafx 6800.

Nice picture: of a block I would not recommend. Galvanic corrosion wiped mine out in short order...

With the external adjustable DC voltage converters (12, 15, 18, 21 and 24 Volts) you may adapt the delivery rate of your pump to your own configuration. The 1500 litres which are achieved at the highest level satisfy even the most pretentious expectations.
The pump is attached at the transformer, and the transformer at the power pack of the PC.
NO 115/230V connection is needed! The extra power cable is superfluous as the pump turns on/off automatically with the PC.
This centrifugal pump is conceived for the thoroughgoing continuous use. The pump sells with 36 months warranty. Due to the G1/4" internal screw thread, the pump is compatible with all types of connections.
Specifications:

Nice pump:)
My card is only for vitrine. :D
CyberDruid, i just saw that on the alphacool website but didn't think it would be that.
1/4" connections means a convertor to 1/2" is needed?
[edit] nevermind, found it [/edit]
21-35db...seems pretty loud to me..
Martin's flow test with overvolt showed it to almost match the Iwaki RD 30 :shock2:

Now, can't decide one loop or two. (needed temps 3C lower to keep 4 ghz orthos stable at my normal ambients)
While waiting for second pump, I added mcr220 to single loop setup in sig, load temps decreased by 4-5C, (they decrease ~7 on load when remove ultra). I am still getting 1.3 gpm (fills 1 gallon jug in 46.5 seconds x 3tests) with 9W DDC through everything (got 2.02GPM when just tested through tubing). Maybe will just keep second pump for spare, or wait til go quad for two loops.
trouble, could you link those fittings for me? Do you like them, are they easy to work with?
Malik I like your case so much very beautiful -clean and basic ;)
IT'S DONE!
