If anyone noticed, they have Linux Server updates scheduled for today. (maybe not the best idea during SC week :D).
I still believe that we can break 20mil.

:( It was a fun ride while it lasted
Gulftown oh Gulftown where art thou $500 Gulftown:shakes:
Ah, come on, run it!
My i7-930 has run all week with core temps about 80C. Stable as Plymouth Rock!
I figure that if they say 70C is the max you're supposed to run it at, there's some margin built in there! It's no fun if you're not playing in the grey.

I am disapoint.
I cannot be disappointed in 17 mill
Excellent numbers team :clap::clap:
I think we can get higher but these priority work units have pissed me off beyond belief ...... it seems every day at around 6 pm it feels it should put all my close to finished W/U's on hold to start new 6+ hour units :shakes:
Another good result, but the second day over day decline since the high on day 2. I was really hoping for a new record today, maybe approaching 19M. :(
Team 2ch and Easynews' have also seen consecutive drops since 11/2 as well...I guess this is normal variation, or maybe something's amiss?
Maybe it was slaveondope turning his clocks back down to ONLY 4.312GHz! :D :ROTF:
Something does seem a little off, my numbers today were a little lower and that's after adding another quad core machine.

That chart tells our Supercomputer Week story by comparing us (#2 total) to Team 2ch (#1 total) and Easynews (#3 total).
Still another great day for the team. We are a train building up speed and the other teams had better get off the tracks before the XSxpress comes rollin through.

Picked up two boxes that were getting tossed. Another X2 4000+ and an E8400. The E8400 box is having some issues not sure if it is going to work.
Also not sure if I'm gonna blow a breaker or not running two more rigs :ROTF:
Now everyone repeat after me:
"Tomorrow I will add at least one more machine":D
Throw the third switch!!!

:D
Of all the...dang it. my 16 core AMD was stuck. BOINC was stuck not uploading, just sitting there, with a huge list of WUs. Had to restart the system and it uploaded them all
And I got the Kill-A-Watt out and measured what all my rigs currently are pulling... uh, yeah, 970W. BUT that also means I'm not close to popping the breaker so I can add one or both of these extra machines on if I can get them working  Don't know about running them the entire time afterward, given the power I'm using, but we'll see.
It is a 20 amp.
you haz plenty of room lol throw a few more i7's on
Would it be worth the time to take my 4x4.0Ghz Xeon down, quickly insulate the board, and hook up my cascade for the rest of the week? I've never had the chip under phase change but I would think 5.5 GHz at least...
imho I don't think there's enough of the week to catch up the lost time. If you want to do that for other reasons then that's up to you, of course, but I just don't think it will wok out better for only a couple of days.
Got the e8500 up and running. Board seems a little funny getting to POST on a cold startup, but once running it seems OK.
Farm power usage = 1100W, and that doesn't include my main rig or my parents' PC (theirs doesn't count as I don't pay that bill :p:). I think last time I measured my main rig it was around 360W, so total is 1460W. Wow....
