Guys, I need to tell everyone, I'll be out of the country for a couple weeks in June. Exactly when those weeks are, I don't know. I'm going to go pick my wife up from Laos. I don't know when exactly our flights will be so, if it happens that I am gone when the pumps get here, I'll try to arrange for someone to ship the pumps to u guys. I'm gonna call next tuesday to check on the order status fyi. Also, Laos has no inet so I won't be on for a couple weeks for those that pm me. I apologize ahead of time for any inconvience this may cause.

Poor Fareast. You guys have made him out to be a crook and have not given him the opportunity to respond. In addition to that you all are working off of assumptions at this point. I am sure he will come through if given a chance to perform.

I did not in anyway say he ran off with our money. However for those of us that did pay we would like a piece of mind, its not 20-50$ we are talking about it's upwards of 300$, that is a chunk of change. If I was aware at the time I would have went with the DDC's and modded tops, I would have saved myself a little bit of money, and would have had the pumps by now.
I just want to know whats up, and I will be fine. its almost a week past when the pumps were supposed to show. 1-2 days is one thing, be it that Farwast logged in on the 14th, he could have posted a message of some sort.
"guys the stuff is not here yet, etc. etc."
granted he may not have had time to post a message.........though it takes what 20-30 seconds to type a quick post? Unless of course he is on dial up.

Well for those of us that are waiting for word, and have a monetary interest in this, could maybe hook you up with a small "finders fee" like a case of something (well money for case of something, you have paypal?);-) if others are willing to chip in, cause some of us have already paid, and its 300 roughly per pump.

I would like my pump, I would like to know whats going on. I didn't offer anything to the person that offered to drive out to where ever. If he did, and was able to provide any insight to this it would be greatly appreciated by those of us who are waiting.

If I was fareastgq, and some random dude showed up at my house asking me about pumps, and he didn't even have a stake in the order, I'd tell him to get the hell out of my face. And if he didn't, I'd get a gun.
Seriously, sending someone to his house to check up on him, as a realistic suggestion, is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. :P
The dude said he'd be AWOL for a few weeks. So, be patient, and give him the time. It could be that his homeboy is actually sending out teh pumps, and just not notifying anyone on the forums abotu it. For all anyone knows, 20 people could have an RD-30 sitting on their doorstep right now. Pumps could be delivered tomorrow. Pumps could be sitting in a box in fareastgq's house. Pumps could still be on order. Without word from fareastgq one way or another, it's all assumption, and nothing worth acting on.
Everyone wants to know the situation, but getting some guy to go to his house and check things out isn't going to help the situation. :)
If in 2 weeks you haven't heard anything, I'd start to worry. Until then, chill. :)
Just trying to keep the peace! And no, I'm not waiting on a pump, just trying to calm the growing idea that this is a scam without any proof otherwise.

Anyways, yes I had read the posts, no I'm not saying you've given out anyone's address phelan, yes I understand the intended humor, but I have no doubt that fareastgq is a trustworthy guy, who I also doubt would leave $6000+ worth of pump sitting on his porch.
Anyways, honestly, if some guy I've never known or seen came to my door demanding info on pumps, and didn't go away when I told him to, hell yes I'd threaten him to get him off of my property. Something like that is very invasive and aggressive, and you'd need some balls to insist to a total stranger that he give you information you weren't entitled to.
Anyways, I honestly think, after previous dealings with fareastgq that everything is on the up and up, and the only thing lacking here is communication, which I'd expect would come in due time. Just keep cool, be patient, and don't get paranoid about the situation until paranoia is due.
Yes, it is feasible that this could be a scam, but then again, anything is possible. It is my honest option that he is totally legit, and the only thing lacking here is an update on the status. Until one is given, no one can reasonable assume anything.
Anyways, not trying to flame or anything, just trying to quell what could become a crappy situation for a crowd that could easily become impatient.
