Don't think its a PSU isuue, I seem to have the same 1.25V limit currently using ATITool. Anything over 1.25V seems to cause artifacts even if its a setting works that was at a lower speed for the core.

well i dont have artifacts over 1.25V for sure, it just randomly lockups and reset setting to default :-) but why only world of warcraft?

Hate to say this on WoW, but maybe its more stressful then other games or hits a spot on the core where it is unstable more then the other game.

I guess its time to buy Enermax 500W Liberty hehe :-) just to be sure its not PSU problem, didnt got molex in mobo plugged, will try now if something change.

You didn't have the 4 power plugs connected in the mobo?? And it still worked expecially at that speed/voltage on the CPU??

I have a Chieftec 420W PSU and everything is fine:) Today I'll buy (i hope so) a zalman VF700-AlCu cooler. I hope the in 600/1400 MHz (1.2/2.0V) the card won't push over 65 degrees...With the new AtiTool (0.25 b9) can I adjust this core and mem speed (with the voltages!) to start up when I boot into WinXP? It this works correctly? Or I'll have to do it manually every time i log into the system? Wizzard said that the X1800 OC Tool changes the timings on the RAMs to afford higher voltages and ATiTool not, that's why people can't achieve so nice clocks (RAM) as mentioned in X1800 OC Tool.

OC changed the timings on the ram to allow for the higher voltages. ATITool leaves it at its default like it should if thats what ya mean.

As for saving voltages nope, currently its not saved per profile yet in ATITool, and is coming in a later version. So I'm looking forward to this setting can't wait.

hi, the problems still persist. The only thing fixed is benchmarks run fine , Colin mcrae05 (which was in the bundle) , MS FS2K4 and aquamark all crash. thats 5.11 installed. :stick:

I tried ATiTool 0.25 beta9, but it's suxx. :( When I raised up the RAM voltage from the default 1.9V to 2.0V, the programme put it to 1.8V :confused:

Although I opened my case again and made my new 3DMark05 record :woot:

625/1500 MHz (XT default, really it's 627/1494 MHz)

Work for me nicely, only private beta9 didnt got working voltage for RAMs.

I only changed the core volts.
I used 1.3v but also works at 2.5 (tested it at that voltage latter on)

Ram voltage does work, just don't use OC tool.

OC Tool resets the voltages to 1.8 for the ram and well then you end up with problems. Also the ram doesn't clock as high, but it gets a hell of a lot more preformance out of ATITool at lower clock speeds.
