What bios revision # should be used for Value 1GB sticks that aren't micron for the DFI? #3? As in will be running CAS 3 at loose timings.
hi all,
can mushkin users please post some A64tweaker shots & bios version they use ? i got my corsair 3200C2 2x1GB v1.2 they should use Infineon chips like the mushkins. up to now i reached 252 @ 2.5-3-3-8 but not 100% stable.#

Just for giggles I popped this stuff.....
NewEgg Mushkins
Into my DFI Infinity Nforce2 board, low and behold it does 225Mhz x11 8,3,3,3.0 1T @ 2.8V like falling off a log.
Could have saved me alot of crap over BH5 a year ago. I got 2 for $79ea AR a couple weeks ago. Only does 230Mhz in A64 NF4 system, but I think the Vtt bug on DFI NF4 really pisses this stuff off. NF2 Vtt is smoooth and this stuff shines.
Very cheap 2G and very good speed in NF2 system. 225x11 yeilds 3400/3300 Sandra, 3300/1350/81.9ns Everest and 36minute SuperPi32M. Prime stable, etc.
Anyone with the ballistix copmpare 704-1 and 704-2 or even 3 for most stable high htt or otherwise?
changing BIOSs is too much of a hassle for me to test....lol.
I'm also interested in the results.
Everything about the DFI is time consuming.Quote:

And my results are perfectly fine as is.
I wish Oscar would tune up a new bios for these ballistix gigabyte sticks though.
:slobber: That'd be nice!
Allright, this must be a one of a kind mem controller or some one of a kind sticks he has:

Should be posted in first place in the database I guess.
This is XS database, not google for fastest memory database. I think he should get first if he comes here and meets the requirements for database.Quote:

Half the Ballistix posts on the first page are with a 7x multi.
My sticks top out at 280 wither it's with a 11x, 10x, 9x, 6x multi. 280 is what they do. I can live with 280
Okay, here is my official submission. :) Regarding the use of a low multiplier, most of the top entries are using less than a 10. So if my results are not legit, then neither are the others. Rather than submitting the 301X7 result, I will submit the one using a 9 multi. Peace.

Vdimm Sierra?
DB Updated. Still need to know what the vdimm voltage is?
VDimm was 3v. Sorry, I was out getting a burger.
:bows: Awesome. Great Job. :oscar: I cant even get into windows at 302. :bsod: Sooooo No competition from me. Its a shame i upgrade my cpu and now i cant compete  Is that the new ballistix? That new stuff sure is lookin good. Crucial has the 2x1024 market cornered atm. Nobody is even comin close. :weapon: Enjoy Great job on this database! 19,000 views.. :YIPPIE:Quote:

Thanks Nugzo! :)
Congratulations to Sierra, and to all of the participants.
(edit: btw Sierra, did you get these from newegg or crucial themselves?)
I bought them from Crucial.
