2800mhz @ 1.65vcore prime stable ~ 5 hrs now. And I played a little guild wars too. Next step? RMA my UTT and try and get 233 2-2-2 @ 3.2vdimm or less. Since running 3.2vdimm for 2.5-3-3 timings on this elixir just doesnt sit well for me.

2.7GHz is just unreachable with even 1.7~1.725v it CAN'T pass even 3% of OCCT, when the test begins I receive an advice.
My cooling is Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu and Artic Silver Cerámique, and raising LDT to 1.3v and Chipset to 1.6v doesn't help or help a little bit... like some more passes on SuperPI 1Mb :(.
I tried 8×300 and 9×266 with and without dividers and always got the same results.
My memory is a pair of G.Skill PC4800LA (1Gb) that can run at 300MHz 2.5 4-3-6 1T. My PSU is a Seventeam real 420w, it has two +12v rails with 16A each and it's 24-pin, too.
Thanks
Damnit overcrash. Stop making me think about reinstalling my watercooling.
Anyway, my chip does an easy 2.8ghz on air, so I'd assume with work I could squeeze 2.9ghz out of it on air. I spent about $50 upgrading from a 2.5ghz(Where I ran it) Winny to a 2.6ghz(Same) Venice, then another $60 upgrading to this 2.8ghz Venice (Also got a retail cooler and 10x multi out of it) so I'm staying here for a bit I figure.

Very interesting thread with some nice clocks :D What could i expect with the ram im using if i went for water cooling? Would i be better off investing in better ram?

Were can I measure my Vcore on my DFI nF4?
[/offtopic]
I dont know if its the best ever, the 0515 APAW's like the one I have did prety well, Mines a +3200 @ 2.9 on 1.450+5% I just cant try higher vcores because bios doesnt offically supoort this chip yet, and it just shutsdown, but I can still take screenys at 3150mhz and a bit more, just wait till I can get more vcore on this bad boy, but the 0515-0517 paws seems to be the chips to get.
just got my venice 3200, stepping lbble 0519bpew.
Anyone else have one of these?
How well does it overclock?
That's the newest one I've seen yet and don't believe anybody's got one yet. Only one way to find out ;) ...........Quote:

currently sitting at an easy 2430MHz at stock volts while I wait to OC it...
On water... load temps reporting 31°C :D
nweibley
So what are you waiting for exactly? My Winchester does 2.65 GHz on stock volts and hates higher voltage
Not overly excited as I'm needing 1.57v at 34°C to get 2650MHz.
I have always been suspect of this motherboard though.... so I dont know what exactly I'm going to make of this...
Have the same CPU, had it on 2.7 with boxed, Hope my new XP90C can bring it to 2.8-2.9 :confused:Quote:
