@The Byter: try to lower the key sensitivity in the user interface. I guess that will help. The red LED on the back was used for the development. It has no special meaning for the customer. As long as it is blinking everything is fine. When it does not blink or light up anymore you have a problem ;)

It does not feel very good to buy a 200$ product with 1.65A per channel and be able to drive only 370ma with the stock sink...
I read that even with the water block you can run only 3x370ma=1.11A, what do we need to do in order to get the full 1.65A ?

Byter: which fan is it? have you measured the actual amperage draw, or just going by manufacturer specs? also, how much airflow do you have on the heatsink itself? (a picture of inside your computer would help with this)
I see the ma reading on the AE5.
no air flow on the sink, any other fan controller I used did not have any air flow.
After the last test I made I can mount:
ch1:2 fans
ch2:1 fans
ch3:2 fans
ch4:1 fans
a little better :(

for just one or two 0.37A fans per channel imho you Don't need it. waterblock is more for something like 2A like D5 pump and alike. i don't know why yours handles less then it should though.
From aquasuite I changed the User Interface --> temperature unit --> to Fahrenheit and it will no longer respond when I switch back to Celsius. When setting the option using the soft keys the display does show Celsius. However, the software will not change back and will only show temps in Fahrenheit.
even a 40mm fan running at low rpm across the sink would help immensely. not saying double the amperage at low speed, but definite gains. consider the size (surface area) of the sink for the amount of watts going through it. on the fan controller I have, to handle (roughly) the same amount of current, it has about 4x the heatsink. so while it may be rated up to a certain amount, it's not likely going to be in a null-airflow environment.
also, larger heatsink = larger surface area to create natural convective air movement and a more efficient heat transfer to the surrounding air (which, while not as efficient as having a fan, can still be acceptable depending on situation).
I can concur, I have a corsair dominator Ram fan running at only 7v which give sufficient cooling to my 6 PA2s to drop running temp by 20c+.
BTW that 1.65A is for maximum power load for devices running at 12V. Not for the power dissipation of the controller when voltage is reduced. Actually it looks like the limit for the unit is just over 800mA at maximum heat load on the voltage regulators per channel. Dont forget that 1.11A was with a D5 on the channel next to it which draws ~1.7A at max voltage and .800mA at 7.4V. That means the combined heat load was about ~1.4-1.6A across the 2 channels. This translates to about 19W heat load per pair of channels since 1&2 and 3&4 share a single temp sensor per pair. This is different than 20W per channel Maximum power load. I think what I'll do for now or when I get the rest of my parts in is connect 5 fans and just the flow meter. The 6th fan will be on the motherboard as it is the rear exhaust fan only. The radiator fans will be connected to the A5
Have anyone tried to regulate D5 pumps of the Aquaero 5 yet? Or with the Poweradjust 2.0?
And by that I mean have the pumps at, lets say 40% for a longer period of time.
Yes check the thread. I have 2 D5s on the A5 and 2 D5s on PA2s running just fine at 7.2V (60%) which is the minimum safe run voltage for a D5 before it stops.
The fans look to me like they are around 80mA or .083A. It looks like it will be ok on both A5 and PA2s for max current.
You may have temp problems with A5 and PA2 at low fan speed though. I would put the lower fan count items on the A5. I have 6 x 370mA (.37A) fans per PA2 and they peak at 2.1-2.3A at startup which is too much without setting a startboost setting of 60% to limit power draw at startup. They run at 1.8-1.9A at full speed and push the PA2 to 85c at 4v~ 700RPM at which point thermal safety cutout switches fans back to full speed without active air cooling. This is why I have a ram fan cooling the PA2s. This brings the PA2 temps down by 20c to around 65-70c when the rad fans are running at low voltages which generates the most heat. I only have 2x fans and a D5 on adjacent A5 channels and a D5 and ram fan on the other pair for the A5 which isnt a problem for heat or load.
After I got some cooling on the sink I can run 12 fans np :)
The mini fans are set for 85C target temp.
The total W is 50W~
I tried *7* fans on one channel with np, but the total A was 2.6A @ 12V so I used only 4 fans max per channel.

so I tried to use two fans in one channel using a Y splitter. These two fans were the only ones connected haha, my rpms would go from 1500 and drop to 1100 for a split second and it would do that over and over. Is that normal?
Phaseshift: is it bought premade or DIY selfmade Y splitter? Yellow rpm tachometer wire should come only from one of connected fans, and should be cut from all the rest, to not confuse rpm readings. Is this the case? Imho common mistake one might do when making splitter by himself.

@philomela: Have you tried a reset of the device? If it still does not show any rpm values it is possible that something is damaged on that fan channel :(
@QuadSLI: Yes, you can use both at the same time and the aquasuite will show both so you can just switch between them. Running the aquasuite two times is not possible. And for the other question: no, that does not fit.
QuadSLI: you may try to attach it to some blank bay bezel with similar finish type to your case by yourself. Though i'd prefer mounting LT on standoffs somewhere on case walls where it may simplify or shorten many fan cabling mess. Or somewhere in path of airflow, to rise effectiveness of it's passive cooling if you use it with no heatsink or had bought passive heatsink.

Xira: imho you'll be able to run those funs and that pump from it with water block attached. With passive heatsink (if that's what meant with "base AA5 xt") .. imho not.
