Sweet looking build and great photos. Makes me wanna get a MM case....Damnit! I just recived my new HAF case too!

Dang you, NaeKuh. First, you revive this dead thread. I really need to do some clean up on this build and retake photos, and now I'm feeling guilty again. Second, you know I am itching to try out the new chip. BUT, I must be strong ... want to finish the Torture Rack before I go on vacation.

well if u guys think real hard theres only 3 unlocked D0's.

Unless u get into the dual cpu boards where there is only 1 unlocked D0.

And my sig lists 2 of them, and its the one thats not on my sig.

So u guys should figure it out by now. :P

Nah, just decided to take a break from sleeving - that comes tomorrow. Got my AMD 955BE stable at 3.6 GHz - can get to 3.8/3.9, but not for 24/7 crunching. Apparently Vista 64 holds it back a bit. But, temps never go over 40.

On the new chip, I can get to 4.4-4.5 pretty easily, but haven't quite worked it out to be Prime stable at those clocks. Got it running now at 3.8 with Vcore of 1.18. Nice thing is, compared to the 920 C0, Core temps are 8-10 degrees lower and Vreg is 10+ degrees lower. Makes a lot of difference since the PC tends to overheat my den.

u need VTT for these badboys.

Roughly around 1.375 - 1.4 to hold HT ON @ 4.2+

When i was playing with your chip for a little bit, i had hold 4.4 at 1.3875 Vcore + 1.86 PLL + 1.375 QPI. /w HT On.

But i was on a classy.

Shazza u need to play with that multi. EE chips tend to have walls on multi's and FSB. So you need to jump around multi's and see which one it likes at what fsb.

Yep ... I've been researching, and I'll be playing some more. Thanks for the info. I don't think the regular x58 should hold me back much.

But ... while I want some higher clocks for benching, my real goal was to generate less heat during the summer months with respectable performance. So I'm already a head of the game. And yes, I moved away from the 22 multipliers quite early :)
