htt boot up clock the same as htt clock

vcore as needed

ram @ 800mhz divider

nb did 1 fid 04

cool and quiet disabled

which processor do you use? 9850? normally that should be easier then with 9750, but perhaps using lower multi and higher htt would work better? wasn't able to test high multiplier against high htt with the 9750 myself of course, but who might know?


I found 05/05 Bios is much better then ealier ones, but i have not tested the newest beta

btw was an extremely fast decision to go phenom.. that thursday morning i woke up with an i have to get one 9750 in my head and heart.. and it was VERY good..

now i will keep this board for a while definitely.. before i was thinking to switch over to the sb750 board if that would oc betterl. but i think there would not be essentially more headroom left with that phenom of mine..

I'll flash 6/12 now, let's see if it improves anything...

you're right, but i'm always curious and so i will test that beta.. i never had problems with bios flashs, and i think so i wont have now either.. if it doesnt work i'll flash back to 05/05 beta which definitely works fine..

Bios 6/12 is flashed...no changes for me. Behaves exactly like the official 5/5.

yep over here too 6/12 seems to work... but i'm still struggling with optimized mem settings and nb vlotage.. but i think now its time to go to bed..:wave:

mmh kinda disappointed with the corsair dhx.. the rev. 2.1 (ProMOS), my first set, will do its 1180-1200mhz without hesitation, the second kit i bought only 2 weeks before is obviously crappy powerchip ics, has problems to run at 1066 even and needs trc 13 and trfc 195ns and active cooling WTF? OK but it runs..

today i'll test lower nb voltage again..

ok i need 1,4v vcore and 1,375v nb to get the 3,2ghz stable.. did only test in 250mV steps but thats ok, perhaps i have a little headroom left this way..

now its running at 3ghz @ stock volts with c'n'q enabled.. will test that for a while..

at least its much cooler now and you do not sweat that much if sitting beneath the pc :D

muhahaha :rofl: 8 cpu cores but only 2 gpu and 1 3dfx pcie grafics core (is that a gpu as well? not really i guess? isnt able to show any 3d at least :rofl:) so relatively cool here :lol: no and most of them not working most of the time so i'm safe i guess.. in winter i dont know if oil is becoming too expensive (last winter we had a shortage) perhaps i'll start crunching or somewhat, hehe space heating with renewable energy as my electrical power is GREEN but expensive ;)

Yea I use the gpu's for Folding at home so everyone of them needs a cpu to
feed the data.....I go to work like on a holiday....;)

I agree totally! My D.F.I 790FX-M2R has been rock solid reliable and problem free:) But also I have a Raid Controller which you really need to make this board truly shine:clap:

One of the best things about XS folding team is that even thou 95% of the people there are Intel owners, I have never
heard any kind of "put down" of AMD or AMD users.

yeah why the hell should they? but i know thats much too often the case..

hell right now i'm running the cpu @ 3,2ghz @ cnq +1,07%, nb @ 2,393ghz, ht @ 2,393 :shocked: also both nb and ht at stock volts. whats going on? with ht multiplier set to 8x instead of 9x it wont even boot, 7x gave a beeping sound booting into windows but that was with a htt of 1mhz higher :rolleyes:

could it be that some timing/clock combination gives problems? i'd love 3,2ghz with cnq enabled that was my definite goal..

edit: ok was only seemingly stable last night perhaps to make me go to bed before dawn.. today 1mhz lower htt seems to work cpu @ 3,176ghz then not too bad actually... testing..
